PT Your favorite little moment or detail in the PT? (image heavy)

I really like how most of the PT-specific saber hilts look a bit more elegant compared the OT ones, while also appearing to be more practically useable as far as alternating between a single and double grip. One of the many PT details that add up to create a world that seems truly lived-in.

 

This picture/scene is worth a thousand words!
I love Anakin and Jar Jar's combined wonderment, as well as Valorum/the Jedi getting left behind as Palpatine races away with the Queen and Anakin in tow, JUST like he will do in the end with both democracy and the Jedi Order.

 

The above great post, reminds me. As the Queen ship arrives, Palpatine smiles and seems to say something as he greets Valorum when he comes to the platform. If you blink you might miss it. Nice little touch of camaraderie, or so it seems.




Main thing though, the moment Chancellor Valorum meets the Queen there's a massive irony that takes place. All the while even as Palpatine first greets the arriving guests, he's talking to the decoy Queen. Valorum surely doesn't have a clue.

Notice that Palpatine's head at this angle is bigger signifying who really in "charge". In reality the puppet master is just getting started. This IMO is also smart directing by GL. As Valorum says it the decoy Queen nor Padme are in the shot! Giving the audience pause or doubts to figure out who's who.

Luke takes his bino's to look over a distance for R2 who's searching for Obi Wan. Little does Luke know will eventually find him face to face with the "Old Wizard".

Best Lightsaber choreography in the franchise IMO...

 

Hmm, I prefer ROTS in terms of overall choreography, but Duel of the Fates is indeed great. And in terms of a little moment in that sequence, there's one I love, just after Maul force throws an object to open a door, where Obi-Wan gives his saber a nonchalant, cocky twirl while taking a few steps forward. It reminds me of Anakin from AOTC, and serves as a cool little snapshot of younger Obi-Wan carrying himself in a looser fashion.

 

Let's get enlightened.

These Kaminoans, keep to themselves. They're cloners. Damn good ones too (*probably the only one's dealing with hypergrowth (generation) techniques)

Just a few...

I like the moment leading up to this, when we see Windu's feet walking toward the enemy to save his fellow Jedi. Then he activates his lightsaber to Jango's surprise.


The sun breaking through the clouds.


Obi-Wan stroking his beard as he watches Luke and his new family. It was a sad yet touching moment. What must've been going through his head?

 

Maybe he's thinking "I wonder what Owen would tell Luke when he grows up?"


"That's what your uncle told you. He didn't hold with your father's ideals. Thought he should have stayed here and not gotten involved.
