What's your favorite non-classic scene in the OT? Something that other people might barely even notice but has alot of meaning to you.

I like at the start of ANH when C3PO and R2-D2 jettison in the escape pod and the two imperials decide not to shoot it because it has no life forms. That one tiny moment essentially led to the death of the empire.

    Hmm...interesting...

    Non-classic...

I hope this is one, because it just doesn't seem like a scene that stands out as much to others...

When Luke and Vader have that chat on Endor in ROTJ.

Probably the garbage compactor sequence in ANH, especially right after they escape from it. That whole conversation they have while leaving is the core of the Big Three's chemistry - Han and Leia arguing, Luke rolling his eyes over it and staying relatively uninvolved, and Chewie just looking over it all calmly. Never fails to make me smile.

Also in ANH...Leia comforting Luke over Ben's death. The chemistry is very sibling-like, with Leia almost acting like an older sister, and amusingly so because they aren't even aware of it yet.

I've always considered the garbage compacter scene classic, but if it isn't, then the garabge scene. Next the whole Cantina scene, and then the scene where Han and Leia and co. are led into the white room by Lando. Darth Vader steals Han's blaster and they realize Lando's betrayed them.

When 3P0 sees R2 in cloud city they have this silly exchange, I've always liked it.

Luke and Vader on Endor, is possibly my favorite moment of the entire saga. When I'm watching it, I can see all the moments of the first movies drawn together into one line "I must obey my master!" Awesome scene.

Basically any exchange between Han and 3PO, which is my favorite dynamic of the trilogy, especially in ESB, "Im really not interested in your opinion, 3PO."

    ANH:
when the X-Wings & Y-Wings fly toward the Deathstar. I just love the conversation between the fighterpilots.

    ESB:
When the Millenium Falcon escapes at the end and the Imperials thought they had disabled the Falcons hyperdrive. the look on Pietts face when he knows he has failed Vader and Vader just leaves the bridge in silence.

    ROTJ:
When Luke has killed the Rancor and the Rancor trainer and his friend cries because the Rancor is dead. Lucas really tells us that there is someone for everyone.

Not sure if these are classic or not, but they've stood out to me since i was little.

A New Hope: Probably when the Jawas said "owtini". That always got me when I was a kid.

Empire Strikes Back: R2 putting 3po back together on the falcon and not paying attention to what he's doing.

Return of the Jedi: the exchange between Han and 3po after they become part of the tribe.

How about in ROTJ - the close-up of Salacious Crumb checking out Leia's bod (just before Luke arrives)?

"No time to discuss this in a committee!"

    "I am NOT a committee!"

Threepio (in background, falling over): "Ahhhh!"

Just for Threepio. That part cracks me up, and I never even noticed it for a long time.

My favorite 'Non-Classic' from the OT is from TESB.
It's when Luke and R2 are sneaking down the hallways
of Bespin. I love the musical transition that
Williams uses there. Then the moment where Luke stops
to compose himself after seeing Han float by...
    just great.

    Favorite Scene...

Luke and Han are battling side by side for the first time within the gunner turrets of the "Falcon", Luke shoots down a tie-fighter and excitedly tells Han. Han replies "Nice kid, don't get cocky". Love that
