    ^ Not quite. The 1995 VHS tapes (the last before the SE) had a special introduction with an interview with Lucas before each film.

    The tapes were re-released with Hi-Fi stereo in 1984 and new sound mixes in 1985.

    I didn't even own the 1997 SE VHS because I had high hopes they would be on dvd soon. Boy was I wrong. I bought the 2000 VHS set after TPM came out on VHS in 2000. I was happy to get rid of the original version and watch the SE which I felt matched up better with TPM.
