    Oh, why the hell not...

    1. Hunt for Ziro
    2. Clone Cadets
    3. ARC Troopers
    4. Heroes on Both Sides
    5. Sphere of Influence (The fact that this -IMO- mediocre episode is on #5 says a lot about this season's quality level)
    6. Supply Lines
    7. Pursuit of Peace
    8. Corruption
    9. Assassin
    10. The Academy
    11. Evil Plans

Out of these, I'd classify as follows:

    1 - 4 : Good - Excellent
    5 - 7 : Mediocre - OKish
    8 - 11: Poor to Bad

My favorite is definitely ARC Troopers, no contest but my favorite isn't necessarily the best episode of the season IMO. That honor still belongs to Clone Cadets IMO.

    My favorites in order..

    1. ARC Troopers
    2. Clone Cadets
    3. Hunt for Ziro
    4. Supply Lines

The rest don't even matter. Though I recently watched "Heroes on Both Sides" again and it's much better and enjoyable than I thought before.

    5. Supply Lines
    6. Assassin
    7. Sphere of Influence
    8. Pursuit of Peace

    9. Corruption

    10. The Academy
    11. Evil Plans

The Hunt for Ziro was like a Star Wars movie in 22 minutes.

Three visually-different planets: Coruscant, Nal Hutta, Teth
Long lightsaber duel: Obi Wan, Quinlan, Cad Bane
Drama, humor -- Masterfully written, suspenseful story

Hard to compete against this one. Sphere of Influence could.

ARC Troopers was like a Star Wars movie in 22 minutes.
2 great lightsaber duels: Anakin vs. Ventress, Obi-Wan vs. Grievous
(By the way, isn't this Anakin and Ventress' first duel in The Clone Wars, the one from the Movie got cut and deleted?)
    Epic scale, consequences: 99

Well, Anakin has a two-on-one duel with Ventress alongside Obi-Wan in Hidden Enemy (season 1), but this is the first time it had a prominent focus in the episode. ;)

99 death sequence was too overdone. Ima-Gun Di's death sequence was way better.

both felt bit overdone to me- but it was really hard to feel bad for a guy whose name is "I am gonna die" :p -99 however was more sympathetic but his death was not very well done either.......

I did like Ima-Gun Di's death sequence more than 99's, but it's probably since I had lower expectations for Di. With 99's death, I didn't feel for him that much because I didn't feel he was treated badly (except for Bric, but he's him).

I disagree. The music on 99' sequence was too loud, which detracted from the scene itself. Di's death was almost perfect overall.

    Funny how that goes.

    I couldn't care less for Di's death.

99 had a good build up and a muted effect. His death wasn't quite as meaningful as Di's (in that he didn't HAVE to die, it was just one of those lapses in judgment that happens on the battlefield), though he had more development as a character.

I found Di's death good with the little pause for his last words and the 'hopeful' note it ended on, in that it's sort of like the pitch perfect way a Jedi goes out to battle droids: Surrounded and outnumbered for a good cause. :p

Well actually we agree:p - i also think music in 99s death was overkill- it didn't need such an epic melody- it was dramatic enough to see him die since i liked him -but there is no John Williams in TCW (expect few musical hints) and Kiner is not always good... Williams did saga music nearly perfectly- death scenes had dramatic epic tone in them but not any loud overepic melodies (or they were in right place:p )- they feel kinda cliché when used like that- another time in TCW- Weapons Factory had that foundry blowing up with similar theme and yeah who was expecting Ahsoka will die so soon:oops:

.. however music worked in Ima's death but it was overdone to name character like that- his death didn't have dramatic effect at all because he was created to die[face_tired]

If only there would be more John Williams in TCW[face_praying]

Oh, I thought you were talking about the scene itself. Anyway, as someone said, the fact that we were spoiled about his fate was not the episode's fault. And while watching the episode I almost forgot that he would die.
