Hi, my name is Bill, and I?m the new RSA. Over the coming days, weeks and moths, I?ll hopefully be getting to know you all better. I?m here to help you out.

    What is an RSA?

    Southwest Regional Support Administrator

It?s the City Rep?s first line of assistance, and the most local ?official ? representative for Fan Force. I?m just a volunteer, just like you all are. But I?ll do my best to serve you.

What can an RSA do to help you?

I can ban, edit and change posts for you. If someone spams you, I can clean it up. If you need someone to get spanked, let me know.

I can also post news stories for you. Your CR can contact me, and I?ll post it as soon as possible.

I?m also going to be sharing more info with you and helping each FF group get better.

    How do you contact me?

    Emergencies
(the big ones, like someone spamming your forum with porn, severely bad language or other nastiness), the best thing to do would be to email fanforce@theforce.net and JC-admins@theforce.net. This will blast all of the admins, and they will help you out ASAP.

Or you can check the Users Online link and find the Admins/Mods that are online at the time. This link is directly under your user name on your screen. Click on it and find an Admin/Mod who is logged in. Then send them a PM (private message) and see if they can help you out. (Admins/Mods are the ones with the colored names. City Reps are in Blue, but they can't ban/edit other user's posts).

    Posting notices for your groups:

If it's an extremely short-notice message and very time critical, email fanforce@theforce.net . This will blast all of the FF admins, and the first one to it will post the message for you. Let's try not to have too many last minute notices, OK? ;)

For other announcements, PM me. I'll get to it as soon as I get on the boards, and I'll PM you back as soon as I've posted it.

    Non Emergencies

    ICQ: 149401129
Please keep this for more FF related type of stuff. Your CR should probably add me to their lists, and I'll be adding him/her to mine.

    PM
This is great for getting hold of me the next time I log onto the JC. Or the next time I refresh my screen if I'm online. It's probably my preferred way of getting hold of me for routine business.

    Email
If you want my private email address, PM me, and I can give it to you.

    Line Parties

If you're interested in setting up a line party, please go to this forum here. This is a forum for everyone to share ideas about opening night line parties. Share info, and learn what others are doing here.

Where do I see FF going?

This is a HUGE time for FF groups. AOTC is opening in a few months, and there will be a lot of interest in SW again. Not just here on the boards, but out in town. Real people. Real fans. Wanting to get together with other real fans.

That's what FF is really about. I'm here to help you do that. I'd like to ask your FF CR to PM me with info on what activities you've done, what works, what doesn't work. That type of stuff. Then I'll share the wealth with all of you, and the other FF groups. No sense in making everyone re-invent the wheel, right? Keep an eye on the SW Regional General Discussion Forum for more info. I?m going to be posting more info there as I get it.

From there, I'd love to see more FF groups growing and getting involved with their communities. Getting to know their local 501st troopers. Helping each other make props and costumes, that kind of stuff.

If you have links, info and other stuff that you?d like to share, PM me. Post it here. Let me know. Let me know how you think we can make FF a better group. I don?t have all the info, and I?m sure some of you have some ideas that?ll help everyone out.

    Let?s hear it!

Hi. My name is Sheryl. I have lived in Utah County all my life, and have few people I can hang out with and talk Star Wars with. If it's okay with everyone, I would like to join in with this group. I saw some pics from activities you have done, and it looks like fun. I look forward to getting to know everyone. Thank you.

I looked over the Febuary plans already, but I'm sorry to say I can't come. A relative got tickets for my family to go see "The Light of the World" on the 23rd. I wish I could go, but I must brave Salt Lake City.
I admit I'm a bit nervous about the next few days. The Olympic tourch passed by today and is spending the night in Provo. While going to class in Orem, I had to deal with a lot of traffic going to greet the tourch. Any way I go to class, I have to deal with Olympic traffic.
Anyway, I hope everyone has fun this month.
    :)

Be glad you don't have a venue by your house or work. I have to deal with traffic on my way. :(
