For anyone interested, here's a link to the Oscar nominations list.
Just to summarize, I listed the Best Picture nominations (And yes, AOTC was snubbed, not like it was a contender anyway) in this poll to see what everyone's choices are.
Hmmm, well I guess my vote is limited to the only movie I've seen that's on the list. Heh.
Chicago is one of the best films I have seen in a long time. It was able to capture the feel of both stage and film.
Lord of the Rings definitly should win...but I know that it's not going to. Mostly because the idiots at the Academy think they know a good film when they see one (which they don't) everyone knows Peter jackson should totally have been nominated for best director.
I want TTT to win, but it obviously won't. Chicago will get it. Gangs was on the dumbest films of the year . IMHO.
I mean just look at the freakin polls EVERYWHERE! TTT is by far above everything else...
mutt and solo needs to fix his sig.. hehe
Gangs of NY was one of the best films of the year, but The Pianist is the one that should really win it. Simply brilliant and moving. Two Towers on the other hand was nothing more than a glorified action film, very good and entertaining but not much else. Unfortunately thay had to drop a lot of things that made The Fellowship extraordinary with cliches, huge plot holes, silly scenes and less character development. At least the BAFTAs got it right.
