ST Your shock moments in TFA

How bloody amazing Rey was.
Also the vision was surprising.

 

The only thing that just really took my breath away was the initial thought that I thought they destroyed Coruscant.

 

Kylo skirting with the lightside of the force. People love a badass, so I thought they'd make him a totally evil dude.

 

I was pretty shocked there weren't any Jedi around.
Rey mind-controlling that Stormtrooper so quickly.
Going with a Death Star 3 over another threat.
Leia not being more a part of the Republic.
The Falcon being stolen, thought Han would've lost it gambling.
Leia and Han being separated.
Anakin's lightsaber being recovered and in a random box.
A two seated TIE fighter

 

The fact that Luke's saber was in a box.

 

Revelation that Kylo was Han and Leia's son
Han's death
Snoke
How powerful Starkiller base was

 

same--the truly shocking aspect of this film was how much i loved rey--i think the shot of her putting on the x-wing helmet did it for me--from that point on, i was sold.
i'd say driver's performance, but i was expecting his greatness, and that was what i saw--it's a tossup for me between kylo and rey, for who's my favorite character.

 

the way the falcon was introduced.

when Ren stopped the blaster bolt.
when Ren dispatched the count the way he did
when Rey turned the table on Ren during her interrogation

 

I could have sworn I saw RENs hand get lobbed off!

 

Ren being Ben Solo was big. Han I saw coming when he walked on that plank I knew this is it, there was a moment where I thought no, Thet won't kill Han here but I had a bad feeling about that. Luke's lack of dialogue.

 

when the saber went past Kylo's hand and ended up in Rey's hand. I don't know why, I just figured she was knocked out.(and when Rey got the saber and ignited it, what piece of music was that playing as it happened?)

 

Rey getting the falcon with chewie. Idk why but that surprised me for some reason even though it was obvious she's the most qualified i thought the resistance would give her a ship or something lol.

 

Yeah, same here. I almost wish it really had been Coruscant.

Also, I, too, was pleasantly surprised when the "garbage" turned out to be the Falcon. I cheered the first time I saw it, I admit it.

 

Oh, seeing Kylo Ren remove his mask was a stunning moment too.

 

When the Falcon appeared. Such a special moment that can't be replicated

Having been spoiled the biggest shock for me was how great the actors were and how good the dialogue and the humor was.
I simply didn't believe it was possible to recapture that OT swashbuckling feel ever again and was shocked that they did it...
Needless to say this is not meant as OT,ST vs PT thing !!!

 

The biggest shock was the force flashback. I honestly thought it was the younglings from the Jedi Temple (Anakin's downfall) nor Rey...

Followed by the absolutely incredible falcon on Jakku scene. That was AMAZING and possibly the best "chase" scene in the saga.

BEN shocked me - and I was spoiled.

 

Kylo didn't die though did he? I'm pretty sure that Snoke dude said he wanted to complete his training

Anyway..... My surprise moment was when Kylo took his helmet off.

Also: "BEN!" and the whole scene (I was so spoilt at this stage, that I believed his name would be Anakin but even so, was hoping Han would survive somehow).

All of them shocking and amazing moments!

 

Finn's screaming as Kylo cut into his shoulder and then sliced his back up. I knew the fight would end badly for Finn but I thought Rey or Luke would intervene before he got hurt that badly.

 

I was shocked when Kylo Ren could force hold a laser in mid air... but only once.
I was shocked when Leia told a Death Star joke.
I was shocked how un-shocking Hans death was.

I was shocked when Kylo Ren couldn't kill a storm trooper.
I was shocked when Rey became an instant Jedi at the end with no training.
I was shocked when JJ Abrams said that Leia and Chewie aren't friends by having them walk past each other after Han died.

 

Would have been great if Chewie had a legit hand to hand fight with Kylo. Maybe tear his arm off (wookies are known to do that)
