    I thought this would be cool- we all have those side projects (or major projects like costumes fanfilms like Knighthood etc...)

    Give us some updates.

    here's some progress on my "The Monkey Boy" comic I'm mucking around with...

    just an idea for a cover done half assed in pencil.

    [image=http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b55/JOHNNAGE_THE_BRAVE/hansolocarb.jpg]

    And of course my styrofoam carving of Han Solo in Carbonite... still sitting there waiting to be finished!

    [image=http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b55/JOHNNAGE_THE_BRAVE/bor3d.jpg]

    And then there's my Star Wars saga to be re-enacted with puppets...

    Nothing so exciting, but I'm looking to buy a house...
    with a magnificent view of, another house.

    I can't believe how mature that sounds...:eek:
    Needs more FART...[face_sick]

    Hmmm, yes, that's better, a house and a fart...
    That's what I'm up to.:D

    I just began work on my second album. I've written four of the songs so far, and I'm hoping to work it together to be finished by around mid-year.

    Hey, Boogie, that's pretty exciting. What sort of genre would it be in...? A friend of mine, doing the same creative arts degree, is quite heavily involved in the live music scene, and has an album already out. It's quite expensive, though, from what I've been told... [face_plain]

    Also, at the moment, I'm involved in writing a four part multigeneric satire. It'd be too difficult to explain, but two of the four parts are already done. :)

    A mixture of genres. My first had everything from jazz to rock to blues to funk. I imagine this will be less eclectic, but the emphasis will be on jazz, rock/blues with a bit of folk thrown in for good measure. It is expensive, although the way I've been doing it isn't so much. I do it all at home, so I don't pay studio time. But the equipment and production of the CDs is where it hits.

    Apart from working on a couple of films I'm also working at getting to Thailand at the end of the year for "kickboxing". :)
    I'm also spending as much time as I can getting back into the army.

    I'm trying to get my head around my third AU fan fic while at the same time posting the second one.

    I've also got assignments for uni and getting the FF up and running.

    I'm involved with Formula SAE this year, so my side project when I have a bit of spare time from uni (and, you know, bludging) is designing an engine component for next year's car (specifically a variable intake manifold, for anyone who understands what I'm talking about). It's not quite an album, but it keeps me busy. :p

    Johnnage, Monkey Boy looks so sad!

    c-j, nothing wrong with being an OLD FART :p

    Sean, all I can say to you is GIMME! :D

    Dan, the real question is, when can we hear the first album??

    I can only begin to wonder at what Marv's novel is about...

    SoE, why is kickboxing in quotation marks? o_O

    Good luck with your fics Katana :)

    Hawk = :-B

    I am working on a new script that I hope to turn into an actual outside-of-university play, I'm moving house, training to be a tyrant :p, and fingers crossed, not going crazy! :D

    SoE, why is kickboxing in quotation marks?

    Well because I'll be fighting in Muay Thai which isn't really kickboxing because it uses elbows as weapons too.
    It's considered by most people to be kickboxing but traditional Muay Thai people know the difference ;)
    Also most kickboxing styles don't allow you to knee someone in the head or spin around and bash them with your forearm :)

    Hey Boogie, how would I get my hands on some of your music?
    I'm making my major film work for uni this year and I'm on the lookout for some music to put on the soundtrack..

    But the question is, Caz...do you need any actor-type people? Cos', as usual, I'm more than willing. :)

    And, Jessie...as soon as it's finished and I'm satisfied with it, I'll send it your way. :) You can be the first to read it...well, after me and my girlfriend, and maybe the tutor who's marking it. ;)

    Actually I do, and you've been on my list for a while ;) How'd you fancy playing Famine? (As in, one of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse...)

    I was going to talk to you about it at the meet in a few weeks. :)

    Well if you take away thye p[art about the lack of members, it's going great. The good thing is we're all uni students, which is also a prob given the fact that there's assignments and everything.

    Remind me before the next meet and I'll bring a copy. :)

    What kind of music were you looking to get on the soundtrack? I also dabble in soundtrack-esque music, (i.e. original score type things) and have an example on the web. Bear in mind that that was made quite some time ago, with an infinitely poorer program than the one I currently have. But that's the quality level you'll get, unless you want to hire out an orchestra for me. :p

    If it's contemporary music with real instruments you're after, give me a PM with a desired genre/mood and I'll give you a link to an appropriate track. :)
