I want Hickman to write an ongoing post-RotJ comic.

 

And it certainly would be ongoing. He'd be great for a Mortis ongoing...

 

Hickman's good, but seeing Bendis would be nice also. I know everyone isn't a fan of his. Gail Simone would also be cool to see do a Secret Six style book or Birds of Prey, so in the former case a collection of bounty hunters and in the latter maybe something with a whole female cast so....something Aphra related.

I'd like a comic series about TFA's background characters. Jakku's locals, aliens at Maz's Castle, the two gangs faced by Han... each story could have a different tone and some characters could return in other stories. Some of them had a very interesting design, for example the two pilots who were supposed to brought Finn to the Outer Rim.

And maybe something about Grievous' origins.

 

I'm not quitting asking for this until we get it.

A new comic series from John Ostrander and Jan Duursema. I don't care about who, what it is or when and where it's set. Ostrander&Duursema=guarantee for quality.

There's already a couple short stories about said characters. The Crimson Corsair in particular got a pretty awesome short story. As did Bazine.

 

I'd also love anything about Sabine's exit from the Imperial Academy.

 

The Great Scourge of Malachor

 

I would like that, though I'm under the impression that with the exception of subtle references like the carvings of Revan in the Malachor Temple, we may not be seeing explicit KotOR references for at least for as long as TOR is online.

Once that is done with...

 

A new Wraith/Rogue squadron book by Stackpole, Qui Gon Jinn noval, and I'd like to see that Vong arc from clone wars made in to a novel.

 

Yeah some Qui-Gon stuff would be nice for sure.

 

Oh yes. Qui-Gon deserves more attention in the new canon for sure.

I have some morbid curiosity as to how TCW handled the Vong, but after the travesty of Dark Disciple I think LFL should know better than to adapt TCW scripts to novels.

 

Here's a few. I've got a few more, but I'll list them another time.

Novels:

Qui-Gon: Training under Yoda and Dooku. Knighthood. Taking on Obi-Wan and any other possible apprentices. Studies of the Living Fore. What made him into such a rouge.

Tyranus: Training under Yoda. Qui-Gon and any other apprentices. Leaving the Order and becoming a Count. What did his family say when he returned to reclaim the title and inheirtance? Sidious and training in the Dark Side. Clone Wars.


Comics:

Red Guards: Training. Guarding Palpatine and life after the death of Palpatine.

 

So Crimson Empire?

 

I know I'm going to get shot for this but I'd love another republic commando book focused on a new squad from Karen Traviss

 

There's plenty of Traviss fans around - they just don't post much these days.

The Bad Batch seem like the sort of characters she could write well - especially if firm guidelines are laid down.

 

I'd like a book called Moff Jerjerrod, written by Luceno.

 

I want:
James Luceno's novels to be recanonized.

A comic book detailing the Boba Fett/Cad Bane team-up story that TCW never got to air because of its cancellation.

A Yoda novel set 400 years before TPM.

And finally, I would be thrilled to have an ongoing Ahsoka comic.

 

Basically yeah.

 

and hopefully this time, they won't pretend that there's a difference between "Royal Guard" and "Sovereign Protector."

 

But will it draw most on the old ROTJ novel, where Jerjerrod is petty, spiteful, and bloodthirsty, or the new one, where he's one of the first Death Star's designers as well as being involved with the second Death Star, has an architectural background, and is consistently described as an not particularly evil man?

 

Nothing new really but a Dooku novel by Luceno would be nice.

A comic detailing either Jango Fetts origin or how he became a clone template.

A comic or book about bounty hunters or smugglers, new characters or popular existing ones like Boba fett or Bossk, and their adventures in the OT era.

A Darth Plagiues style book on the rise of the First Order ans Snoke.

Finally a book or comic on how Darth Bane created the rule of two.

 

As much as I'd like to see her come back, the only thing I could see bringing her back is the opportunity to write a Legends novel or two to wrap up the Commando books.
Now, I do hope we get someone that will write a decent Nucanon Republic Commando series, since we do know that the Commandos exist in Nucanon. Perhaps an outside author could be pulled in for that. I'd love if they continued using the Mandalorian language Traviss started, since it's fairly well developed and one of the most complete in universe languages we had.
