Your Target Wake-Up Call

I just noticed this in the TFN news. Need that incentive to get up and go shopping on Friday or Saturday? Live in the US? Shop at Target? Sign up here to get a wake-up call from Lord Vader (or one of 7 other celebrities..).

Since I got a laugh out of it I thought I would share..

 

I saw one of the comercials with Darth on it recently, pretty funny. Now if only Target could guarentee new stinkin figures...

 

I saw the comercial to. Funny. However from who they showed it would be hard to choose who wakes me up.

 

If I was in the US it would have to be Vader..

 

I got a kick out of that commercial too.

"Darth, that heavy breathing's going to get us in trouble"

 

Yeah, I saw the commercial last night and laughed and laughed.

So are we supposed to be hoping that Target will restock all their SW merchandise for the huge shopping weekend? I'm tempted to get up early on Friday to check mine out, but I won't get my hopes up.

I wonder what Vader says in the wake-up call....

 

I think it says on the website actually. Randy (my bf) played it for me a couple days ago (forgot already). There are at least to commercials though. One with who ever the hot chick was and the "heavy breathing" one. The one with the girl was pretty good too, I know that one is available online.

I'd have to go with Vader for a wake-up call, but I'm too lazy to get up that early.

 

You can have a wake-up call at 10 PM if you want one!

 

It's tempting to get the wake up call on my cell and not answer it so I can have a message from the Dark Lord of the Sith.

 

That was a pretty funny commercial!

Well, judging by this thread over in JC Community, the Target Wake-Up Call campaign has had mixed results.
Did anyone here try it?

 

Mine came a half hour late ;-)

It was more of a Trooper wake up call, basically it was darth breathing while a storm trooper told you that you had to head to target and shop and then a shuttle would be dispatched to pick you up....alas it never came and i was very cold waiting ;-)..

all in all worth the price of the call which was free...

 

I heard the stormtrooper sounded pretty crappy

 

I just got my call and I didn't hear heavy breathing but a stormtrooper telling me Vader commended me to get up. Just like Darthmouse.
That was pretty lame!! Oh well, not bad for free eh?

 

yeah I was a bit dissapointed also. I heard Vader Breathing, then the Stormtrooper telling me to get up. (so i went back to sleep)
