He's been gone a long time, but James Dean is still the ultimate Teen Idol (for 'Rebel Without A Cause').

The only people on the list that are truly Hangin Tough are the New Kids.

When I hear The Right Stuff it makes me want to get on the floor and do the new kids dance.

I don't think the Beatles belong on this list. Has anyone ever heard of Seargeant Peppers? or Abbey road? Even though I love the New Kids, Hangin Tough isn't close to Revolver.

A day in the Life is probably one of the coolest songs ever.

can you say "ick"? the only country band i've ever listened to willingly was Bearing Straight (sp?)....and i only like their russian folk song with that funky blue grass touch....it sounds awesome! but other than that i hate country!....even though i can square dance.... :p

Aaron, the Beatles were the original "boy band". Granted the talent range between them and New Kids on the Block could fill the Grand Canyon....But still, both were boy bands...The Bee-Gee's I never saw as a boy band though...

Country ick?! Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw. All great Country singers. Heh, here I am almost ready to defend country and I don't even listen to it that much. A little here and there, but I sure wouldn't call it ick :p

uh, none of the above. Is this supposed to be the person I idolize the most who is a teen? or the person I idolized when I was a teen?

Who do you really hear on the radio that sounds like pop besides Shania and Faith? Tim McGraw certainly doesn't sound like pop to me. There's another guy that is country, pretty popular too, but I can't remember his name right now. He doesn't sound like pop though.
