Latin Am. Your Thoughts on EPISODE 2??... - Que pienses de Episodio 2??..

Hello y'all. I'd like to start this topic by sharing my thoughts on Episode 2.
As I expected, Lucas does not pay much importance to the acting as opposed to the extensive work in special effects.
Natalie Portman used to impress me quite some deal with her acting skills, but in AOTC, she seems somewhat vain and shallow.
(specially the part where she sees Anakin for the first time!!, "Ani!, is that U?"!!!)
She should have played a more agressive stand, such as Leia's in EMB.
The music was superb (AS USUAL!).. thanx to the genious of John Williams.
The story was good, but i can't help but feel that Lucas had cut the film too much. There seem to be many scenes missing.
As much as I love SW, I give this movie a
decent 7, in a 1 to 10 scale.

It did seem like Lucas had cut quite a bit, but it was still good to me.

On a scale of 1-10, I'd have to give it an 8.

La pelicula la he visto 4 veces y no la vi mas porque la quitaron del cine aca en PR. De no ser por eso la veria mas aun. Me encanto TODO. Le doy un 9.

 

oh, forgot the following:

-the last scenes are amazing, I almost felt as if i was drawn back to 1980 to the Empire Strikes Back premier!
all the cameos and reminescent parts of the very end are a total DEJA VU!

Rafa, no puedo creer que ya la hubieses quitado en Puerto Rico!!!, apenas se estreno alla en May no??
well bud, it's about to be a month here in CR since the premier and tyhe movie is still going strong. You can come over any time DUDE!! heheh

 

Aca en Panama la quitaron bastante rapido no la dejaron mucho tiempo en cartelera y solo la vi 2 veces, estreno en medio del mundial de futbol pero con todo y eso habia buena vibra con la cinta.

Bueno, veo que en otros países también la sacaron muy rápido de los cines..me sorprendió eso..acá estuvo creo que un mes y nada más..creo que todo el mundo quedó decepcionado con Ep. 1 y no lo olvidó aún..
en fin, Ep. 2 la vi 2 veces, y me gustó, pero estoy muy de acuerdo conque las actuaciones dejan que desear..Natalie Portman y Sam Jackson son los peores creo..
y Hayden se lleva el premio al peor creo..
su actuación de jovencito llorón mucho no me gustó..eso si, cuando destruye a todos los Tusken Raiders es memorable..
Pero la historia de amor me pareció decepcionante...en ningún momento me sentí identificado con esa situación...

Y en mi opinión, lo que no tiene esta nueva trilogía es ese sentimiento de que son humanos los que viven en esa galaxia, ese sentimiento que le hace pensar a uno que lo que sucede allí podría pasar en un futuro muy lejano...esos toques de ¨humanidad¨ que le digo yo son, por ejemplo, Luke diciendo que el Millenium Falcon es un pedazo de chatarra, o Luke cuando se encuentra con su amigo...esos toquecitos que hacían humanos a los personajes humanos...suena contradictorio, pero es lo que pienso...
los personajes humanos de esta trilogía parecen robots...pareciera que no tienen sentimientos...o simplemente, Lucas no sabe dirigir actores ni escribirlos...

bueno, esa es mi opinión..
a Ep. 2 le doy un 7.5 sobre 10
