There's to many to choose from umm.. umm.. why is it so hard. It's always the Spielberg/Lucas films first on my list. If the topic were the top 10 favourites then that's a different story.

    1. Star Wars Saga
    2. Lord of the Rings
    3. Indiana Jones Series
    4. Jurassic Park Saga
    5. Toss up between the X-Men and the Terminator series

I don't have a top 5, but these are five movies that come to mind when I think about it.

    The Empire Strikes Back
    Ghostbusters
    Pulp Fiction
    Wierd Science
    Dogma

I've got more movies that keep popping into my head, so this isn't really my top 5.

See, top five is kinda tricky, 'cause it makes you really think about what you pick. It's like asking what 5 films could you watch over and over again, or what 5 films would you take to a deserted island.

    Yay ESB! :D

    1) The Empire Strikes Back
    2) Fight Club
    3) Batman Returns
    4) Full Metal Jacket
    5) Goodfellas

Edit:There's a whole heap of other films that I'd offer up for various reasons as favourites as well. Requiem For A Dream for being a hideous film but having undeniably brilliant content. Clerks for showing kick-ass films don't need a big budget, just a good script. Metropolis (Fritz Langs' 1929 silent version) for setting the "future imperfect" genre in such a solid foundation that films like Blade Runner could follow up. Spinal Tap/Best In Show/Waiting For Guffman/Bob Roberts for defining what a mockumentary can and should be. Dr Strangelove for a quality of political satire that's rarely equalled. Really just too many to list

    :)

1 - FotR & TTT, they are part of the same movie in my eyes, one nine hour long movie, but hey!
    2 - RotJ
3 - That Thing You Do
    4 - Amelie
    5 - Little Voice

It's hard doing a top 5, I could keep going, easily, but I'll restrain myself.

I don't know if I could put all of LOTR in my top 5 list and call it one movie. I really enjoy FOTR, but I wasn't as impressed with TTT. Same with Star Wars, they're more like 6 movies that connect into one saga rather than being one 14hr movie.
