ST Your Top 5 TFA Characters

1. Kylo ren - He is a different villain. He feels conflicted with himself and is a real person meaning he's not perfect. I really like the fact that he has fears in living up to his expectations. I can relate to that. And he is a badass. I really love how Adam Driver portrays him. He is good looking as well looking like Keanu Reeves. And last night seeing him on SNL made me love him more.

2. Rey - She is very likable. Her introduction on Jakku was perfect. It shows how she lives alone n is very lonely. I can relate to that. I don't have friends or not much like her. She can portray someone like Han Solo as her father prolly cuz she nvr really had that father figure. I can really relate to that as well. As the movie goes by she seems scared of Ren but later grows fearless. I like how she just does what she has to do even if she's scared at first.

3. Bb8 - This is the cutest droid ever. It has such a personality giving a thumbs up to Finn lol.

4. Han solo - I like how Han Solo is very calm about everything.

5. Luke - That end scene was just epic

 

1. Finn . . . . IMO he is the heart of the movie. Most original new character.
2. Rey . . . . Pure awesomeness.
3. Han Solo . . . . Self-explanitory.
4. Chewbacca . . . . Really let him show off in the movie.
5. BB-8 . . . . Loved the interactions with the characters.

He's cute, but is proof George still can't write dialogue and is interested only in technology and merchandise

3)Snoke - Hardly in the movie at all and the debates are raging over who he is.

Kylo - He is so multi-faceted and fascinating that it is hard to summarize him in a few words.

Poe- Handsome, brave, has a sense of humor, loyal, a great pilot....I could go on....

BB-8 - Totally adorable!!!!

Rey- I love the fact she is tomboyish....

Chewie- nostalgia...liked him in the OT also..

1. Rey. She was an amazing character. Everything about her was perfect. She had a great personality, she was pretty funny, she was a total badass and she was beautiful.

2. Kylo Ren. He was the most well written character in the entire series, in my opinion. He had flaws that made his character really interesting and like no other character. Having a Sith that was tempted by the Lightside was such a great idea and nothing like that had ever been done before. His tantrums and power level was, and will be, fantastic for his character development.

3. Han Solo. No explanation needed here. He's still a legendary character.

4. BB-8. He was really funny and was just so fun to watch.

5. Finn. He was also really funny and had a great personality. I loved the way he interacted with the other characters. It was also really interesting seeing a stormtrooper becoming a hero.

Poe Dameron and Chewbacca would be next, as they were also fantastic in every way.

1. Rey - I went to TFA to watch Han Solo, Millenium Falcon etc and after 30 min it was all about new characters. It was pleasure to watch that new, unknown actress in that role.
2. Kylo Ren - Great villain in making. I wish Anakin story was like Kylo, and not 10 yo kid in stupid race.
3. Maz Kanata - I'm interested in her story
4. Han Solo - old, good Han Solo. He still got it
5. BB-8 better version of R2D2

 

1. Kylo Ren - so well played by Driver. Complex and conflicted

2. Rey - Daisey Ridley was superb. Rey is a strong nd engaging character

3. Finn - Boyaga is just so funny and engaging

4. General Hux - Gleeson is chilling as this young fanatical leader. He scares me

5. BB-8 - so cute

 

Hard Choice but I go with :

Kylo Ren : very hard to pull off a new villain after Vader & Palpatine but they nailed Ren .

Han Solo : Perfect send off & Harrison Ford did a great job .

Rey : Awesome new lead & great to see a female in a lightsaber duel .

Luke Skywalker : Just a cameo but he looked so good & with the bionic hand showing was amazing .

Chewbacca , Finn , Poe : to hard to choose - they were all great .

I really only liked about 5 characters in the movie:

1. Rey - Even though she's overpowered you really get behind her and it all starts with her scenes on Jakku.
2. Chewbacca - This was maybe Chewbacca's best movie. He was featured well and had some nice humor.
3. Luke - So much anticipation then to finally see him. We (the audience) want more!
4. BB-8 - Very cute... A nice addition and good humor.
5. Jess Pava (the female resistence pilot). I like her, she's cute.

Why I didn't name some of the others:

Kylo Ren - I've said this many times here but he's just a disappointing and unintimidating villain. Rey victory at the end built her up by really tore Kylo down as a character. Rey's right, he's not nearly as powerful as Darth Vader, not even remotely.

Finn - Dude pretty much sucked at everything. Loses both fights he was in, can't pilot anything, can't fix anything. Dude just sux.

Han Solo - Almost put him on my top 5 but his death was anti-climatic. He could have had a more heroic death scene.

Poe - Almost put him in my top 5 just for the kewl flying scenes but I've seen this guy before but he was called Maverick in his other movie (Top Gun).

Leia - She did not seem like the same person as she was in the OT. Maybe they waited to long for the ST.

Hux - Looks like he just came out of a Hitler youth camp. Went a bit too far with the Nazi references.

Phasma - A push over. She's no Boba Fett that's for sure, at least not yet.

Maz - Too much of a Yoda ripoff.

Honorable mention to Luke - a great reveal and wordless performance by Mark Hamill, he would be #3 but IMO he didn't get enough screen time to qualify.

While I was as happy as next fan to see all the old characters, I came out the cinema buzzing about the new ones - where would they go, what'll happen to them, and that's reflected in my top 5.

1. Kylo Ren. Probably the most 3 Dimensional character we've had in a SW movie, Driver nailed it.
2. Rey. So much mystery around her, loved her positive attitude, can't wait to see how she develops.
3. Poe Dameron. Badass.
4. BB-8. Come on, why wouldn't you have him there?
5. Maz Kanata. So intrigued, hope we see her again.

That doesn't mean to say I didn't like others, these are just my favourites right now. Really hope Phasma gets to be better in the next movie, and can't wait to learn more about Snoke, and see more Luke. I guess I agree that Leia was disappointing, but I think now Han has gone she'll be more involved rather than a behind the scenes type, Carrie is so awesome in real life, I just want Leia to more like her in the movies again.
