THE CONQUEROR, one of the all-time worst. To add to this pathetic flop's notoriety, a nuclear test taking place in Nevada
dumped copious amounts of fallout on the location site in Utah during production. Almost half the cast and crew present at
the time eventually died of cancer.

Films that also should have been irradiated:

    WILLOW
    MOMMIE DEAREST
    PROMETHEUS
    CATWOMAN
    GIGLI
    PLANET OF THE APES (2001)
HOWARD THE DUCK ... among many others and in no particular order.

Haha yes I love this thread!

    In no particular order:

    Dead Poet's Society
    War Horse
    License to Wed
    Anger Management
    10,000 B.C.
    The Bourne Legacy
    The Final Destination
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
    Alien vs. Predator
    Conan the Destroyer

These are only the ones that I could think of at the top of my head.

I refuse to believe you legitimately dislike any of those movies at all.

Except possibly Wild Wild West. Even, then, though, it probably fits more into the "enjoyed it relatively less" category.

That's a shame. They're quite terrible movies and should not be viewed by anyone.

The Bourne Legacy is really not that bad and shows a different part of the universe of the Bourne movies.

Prince of Persia: Sand of Time was one of the best video game movies ever made.

Alien vs. Predator was a good movie and was better than Aliens 3 and 4.

The Bourne Legacy is dull and meanders and has Jeremy Renner running around yelling WHERE ARE MY CHEMS while Edward Norton twirls his mustache.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is an abortion of an adaptation. Also, Mortal Kombat: The Movie and Silent Hill say hello.

Alien vs. Predator being better than 3 and 4? That's like saying you would rather hammer nails into your head for the rest of your life rather than just doing once and calling it good.

    Red Dragon (such a disappointment)

Off the top of my head, here are a handful of supposedly great films that I did not like:

Brazil (granted that was over ten years ago so I might like it better now)

The Cabinet of Dr Caligari (same)

Ryan's Daughter (did a week where I watched all of David Lean's epics -- this was the only one I hated and the only one I couldn't even finish. Critics panned it so heavily that Lean stopped making films for decades but some still love it)

But seriously, give them a second chance, if nothing else.

You gotta be careful which version of Brazil you watch. I hated the first one I saw then loved the cut I saw on a criterion edition

I mean my tastes have changed a lot, so it's entirely possible Id like them better -- although there's no getting past that surrealist stuff.

Edit -- ah, good to know. I usually enjoy Criterion DVDs so maybe I'll have to look up that version.

I'm 90% sure Jello's disdain for Brazil might be along ideological and philosophical lines.

Just the fact that Damien Hirst received no credit for artistic influence is reason to hate that movie.

The thing with the horse was awesome.
