Okay, I may be biased toward Grandpa Gohan (He's awesome in the game), but in the movie he was killed by the roof falling, not even an outright fight with King piccolo. I think he was killed by Goku originally because he was sleeping or caught off guard instead of it being a legitimate battle. When he fights Goku again, right before piccolo arc with the witch Fortuneteller Baba, he OWNS Goku completely. He is definitely more powerful than Krillin and Roshi.

That's not because he was winning, that's because he knew Goku's weakpoint in a way almost no other opponent would.

As for the roof, well, Dragonball's about as consistent as molasses with those sorts of things, so who knows?

That's a pretty good point. I might accept King piccolo killing Grandpa Gohan instead of Goku, if they did it well (Like an epic sacrifice, etc.) I'm not one to usually defend the more pathetic of Dragonball characters and they are many, but they did overdo it in the movie with Grandpa Gohan's character. He was like, celebrating Goku's birthday alone for some reason. It was ridiculously sad portrayal of a wise mysterious mentor figure.

I still wanna see Dragonball: Evolution just to see how eye-gougingly terrible it is.

Imagine being strapped to a chair, a violent nauseating medication flowing through your bloodstream. Your eyes forcibly held open, eyedrops periodically administered. There's a film playing. It is a film which makes you fully aware of the scope of human depravity. Even without the nauseating agent you would feel sick to your very core. You scream for mercy.

    None comes.

That film isn't quite as bad as Dragonball: Evolution but it's damn close.

Yeah it's just on my list because I couldn't let it go that someone messed up a role even Anne Hathaway with Cat Ears made work and that movie quickly summarizes all I resent about sexism as a rabid comic fangirl in character design alone. When it was released it was a dark time for DC live action- I was already stomaching Smallville and Birds of Prey, so when Catwoman came out, I thought I already served my time and didn't see the movie.

I haven't most of the Twilight Saga either. I just saw the first movie and Breaking Dawn, and got the gist. (Well, I also read the books. Weirdly, the movie improves some parts of Breaking Dawn.)

I seriously think you cannot say you hate a movie you've never seen simply on principle.

I hate The Last Airbender with a passion.
    1. The trailer for it was bloody EPIC.

I had no clue about the tv show going into it, and the trailer alone sold me on the movie, thinking it would finally be M Night getting back on the right track for good movies. Shyamalan LIED to us.

    2. And then...thinking it was just a bad kid's movie...I actually sat down and watched a bit of the show....WHAT THE ****??
I watched an episode that featured a SINGLE GUY FIGHTING A VOLCANO TO SAVE HIS VILLAGE. Like jumping and using his magic to shift lava floes and cause sinkholes to form.

HOW THE HELL DID SHYAMALAN TAKE A GUY FIGHTING A VOLCANO AND TURN IT INTO FIVE GUYS JAZZERCIZING TO MOVE A SINGLE ROCK?

There's plenty of terrible films that I haven't watched.

Out of what I HAVE watched:

    - The Last Airbender
    - Transformers 3
    - Indy 4
    - Tree of Life
    - A Walk to Remember
    - Grease
    - Breathless (for sheer number of times I've had to watch this and be told it's "brilliant")
    - The Tin Drum
    - Step Brothers
    - Husbands and Wives

Aside from the CG overkill I still don't get everyone's massive level of hate for Indy IV.

for the same reason as the massive level of hate for the star wars prequels, the transformers films, the last airbender, etc. it failed to capture the feel and the joy of the original films.

Most of these movies I have on my list thus far I don't hate with anger but with lols. The only one I truly hate and wouldn't wish on my worst enemy (well actually maybe I would) is Dead Poet's Society.

dunno if I could be bothered to come up with 10 , but off the top of my head -

Pretty Woman - julia roberts and all her annoying teeth .

Texas Chainsaw massacre - I don't wanna hear any nonsense about it being a classic , it's revolting and tiresome , and that woman screaming for 60 minutes (that's how it seemed to me ) .

Is there a difference between least favorite movies and most hated movies? Or this case, it means the same thing.

I always under the impression that "least favorite" is a polite euphemism for "most disliked."
