Fascinating looking at these, wonder if some of these concepts were in George's head when he was still making Ep 7 or making out the initial outlines. Because unless this took place even FARTHER in the future then some of stuff contradicts Legacy like Nobodies business. Yet deeply inspired by it as well.

 

I've never had the foggiest idea what to make of the Maul game, and this certainly isn't changing that.

 

Or at least making things less complicated by having to wrap your mind around how both the Dark Horse and TCW Timelines can fit in (Not to mention 2D Clone Wars) especially considering the Plagueis had to work around things that TCW brought in and a lot of post NJO stuff started incorporating that Mortis stuff with the mother. And of course now we have SWOTOR stuff going it's own way mostly. Though I do wonder how that stuff will wrap up down the line.

Though now that I think about it, it seems the Comics were more on the chopping bloc then the books.

Also are you referencing Force Unleashed, I mean I guess the trailers made it edgy but I never considered the story that edgy. Seemed to fit the tone of Star Wars for me. The story itself though.....

 

It definitely feels like it might have come out of that same pool of dozens of "Edgy Jedi" titles (including the "Episode VII" one) that ultimately became TFU.

 

What's strange is I remember seeing some Beta testing that made it looked like it was set during the Clone Wars era.

So it makes you wonder what would have happened if it came out. Would have been set during TCW or would it be in the far future, or would have it contradicted and ret-conned Legacy. (Or Both)

Aw, no. Exar Kun ~rocked~ that 90s ponytail. I've always thought Steven Seagal would have been an excellent casting choice.
