So, your kindly old aunt has just won lotto and has given you $1000 and absolutely insists that you use it to get something for your Star Wars collection, or in fact start a collection if that's the case.

What are you going to buy? A handful of MR sabres? That MIC 12-back Luke figure you've had your eye on. As many figures as will fit in your K-Mart trolley. A complete SAFF wardrobe :D

So what's out there that you've always wanted to get, but thought, "If only I had the $$$".

Have a think about it. I'd be interested to see what people come up with.

Note: This is entirely hypothetical. Neither myself or any of the wider Meanders family have had to cope with this situation in reality. So no begging letters please [face_laugh]

Personally, and without giving it too much thought, I'd get a bunch of Kotobukiya trooper figures.

I'd complain about only getting $1000.

Need more than that to fullfill MY wishes.

I know that, but lets just stick to the SW collection shall we :p

In your case then, pretend you're on a tight budget :D

    The new Darth Maul MR.
Jango armour made from one of the guys on TDH forums (awesome fibreglass stuff).
    Jango gauntlets.
    Altman Jango/Boba backpack.
Assorted bits and pieces for the costume.

There's $1000 easily. Damn, now I have to save for the MR Jango blasters :( ;)

I'd either buy some clone armour, a nice collection of MR Sabers or i'd put it toward a studio scale AT-AT =P~

*glares at his padawan* Mind your mouth, young one ... wigs are purely for SW purposes ... I have a very healthy head of hair.

A Republic Gunship and X-Wing UCS Lego.
    A Darth Maul MR.
    A UCS ISD.

Everything else I'm just as likely to buy myself...but since ~$300 is as much as I'll pay for one thing those elude me.

    I'm with Evil.

    I'd sit down and cry.....ONLY $1,000???????

I can spend that much just thinking about collectables.....which is kinda sad.

I'd get some MR stuff, then go to Toy Kindom, buy as many Star Wars related toys as possible with what was left, and then donate them to the Childrens Hospital.
Try and convert as many of them as possible to the Dark Side (Collecting). [face_devil]

    lmao [face_laugh]

I'd buy the limited edition copy of 'Dressing a Galaxy' that has the fabric samples in it, and I'd probably buy the Sideshow Han Bespin, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Kit Fisto figures :) Oh and the Medicom Vader :) That would be all the money gone :(

I'd buy as many Sideshow collectable SW I could carry or as much as $2,000 would buy me :D

    *what??*

*$1,000 you say ??- really ?? Bummer, cause that aint gonna get the job done- that's only about 10 figures dammit *

One - maybe two - MRs, and the rest on Lego. :D

(I'm a horrible collector, I don't buy anything unless it actually has some sort of function to it, so there goes pretty much the whole SW collection racket out the window...)

I used to feel that way.

Then I bought a Gentle Giant product.

Lego is still my first love though [face_love]
