You've Just Seen the Teaser - How good do you honestly expect Episode III to be?

I never thought I'd see a trailer that excited me more than for TPM or FOTR, and yet here I am today with shivers running up and down my spine.

Lucas is pulling out all the stops for this one.

 

I agree with you completely. I never was so physically effected by a trailer in my entire life. I am totally overwhelmed by it.

My expectations have just been raised significantly!

Not only was that an awesome trailer.

I'm going to love AND hate ROTS....this is the chance to see the final pieces in the jigsaw but it means the sacrifice of seeing my favourite character destroyed and turned into half man half machine.

Oh the eyes....the damned EYES.....

This is just such an emotional moment...I can't believe what I've just witnessed.

But I believe truely that ROTS will own LOTR and anything it comes up against in May.
Watch out, Anakin Skywalker....Darth Vader is coming...and you better step aside!

 

I honestly think this will be the best Star Wars movie ever.

Clones is tied with Empire, but this just seems...oh my god and it's not "anticipation" or "hype" that fuels me.

you know when that first image of Anakin with the EYES came up , I thought of Darth Maul but this time.....this time its even scarier.

 

Right - because Darth Maul was obviously evil - he even looked like the devil.

But we've seen Anakin from a kid to a Padawan to the hero of the Clone Wars....and now his eyes are no longer human. Freaky....

Those eyes! That part looked very trailer made, not like it could be part of the real thing.

 

I'm glad I'm not driving right now...I'd probably be going 90 out of the driveway.

Wow, regardless if it was trailer made or not... The shot with Anakin and the eyes. Wow.

I was *slightly* annoyed with Anakin in AOTC, but not that much. But when I saw this particular shot in the trailer, I started to feel very sorry for him.
He does look evil as hell, but he also looks so... hm... beaten down by the world. Like there is lots of pain in him.

Probably just my imagination running wild, but thats what I felt.

The shot of the Emperor (I am guessing from the evilness and the cackle) wielding his saber is also quite scary...

 

I went with 95-99%... just to be safe.

This trailer more than made up for the stinky teaser poster!

ROTS IS GOING TO KICK ASS!!!!!!!@@!@ I'm actually sweating/shaking just from watching this trailer!

 

I think it's going to be spectacular. Only question I have is...if it ends up with the same feel as the trailer, it might be TOO dark for Star Wars. The other five films are quite a bit more light and fun, the trailer looks like Nightmare on Elm Street Part 12.

It's definitely what I've been wishing and hoping for. Many people believe that Lucas does dark better than light, and this one could be his wonderful Star Wars swan song, a dark and creepy end to the saga.

 

well i didn't see it myself on tv but a friend who recorded it onto his computer sent me it (Though of low quality) and i was hoping to see general greviouse but was slightly dissapointed when he wasn't shown but apart from that i think its gonna be a good movie
