I want to see Onimi so bad. Would like to see Nom Anor as well but Onimi would be awesome. Andy Serkis or Mark Hamill using his Joker voice.

Hello, fellow board users. I am currently building a character for an RPing board I am on that is based in the old EU, actually going post Cade Skywalker era.

However, I have a question concerning the Yuuzhan Vong bio-weapon known as the amphistaff. I have read that there are wild populations of them post Vong War. I am curious on the following: my character is Force Sensitive, and has knowledge of Jedi arts. She comes across a wild amphistaff, and uses the force technique used to befriend / control beasts. My logic is that, despite being genetically engineered, the Force should still effect an amphistaff in this way because it is still an animal. Feel free to comment.

 

Going to combine this with the Yuuzhan Vong fanclub as the experts there would be the best folks to ask.

 

I wonder what the Vong were like before they lost their connection to The Force.

 

Good question. They may have still been violent and masochistic, but perhaps they were not yet conquerors. It's also possible that they became violent ruthless during their conflict with the droid civilizations. After all, their world helped them to create living weapons by that time.

I've always found the Yuuzhan Vong fascinating. More should have been done with them post-NJO.

 

How much of their past do we actually know and how much is just speculations?

 

If you make your character some kind of hybrid part whatever/Yuuzhan Vong or if your character had a backstory of being broken/shaped then that is possible. Otherwise nothing of our biotechnology can be 'sensed' from the jeedai.

 

I must say I absolutely love the Yuuhzan Vong and I happily ask to be accepted as a honorary member into the Children of Yun-Yuuzhan!
