Yuzhaan Vong Armor According to the RCRB

Hi.

In the NJO sourcebook the Yuzhaan Vong's armor provides both a defense bonus and damage reduction. The book was published in 2002, possibly before the RCRB came out. In the RCRB armor does not give you a bonus to defense, only DR.

What should I do to update the outdated stats for the armor?

Here's an example:

Warmaster's Armor

Defense Bonus +9
Max DEX Bonus +1
AC Penalty -2
Damage Reduction 18

Should I just drop the Defense Bonus or should I increase the DR? Or something else even?

 

Since the armor is "alive" it could concievably give you a bonus to defence. I would leave them "as is".

 

I believe Ultimate Alien Anthology had RCR stats for Yuuzhan Vong armor.

 

It would be great if someone could tell me how the Yuzhaan Vong armor is in the Ultimate Alien Anthology.

Also, those of you who are GM-ing NJO games, what do you do with the Vong's armor?

Is there any chance you could tell me how the armor is in the UAA? I would buy it but my hobby shop has run out of SW RPG books and isn't getting any more...

Simple question.
Does the revised YV armor provide a defense bonus?
Or does the DR increase?
Or none of the above?

supreme commander = heavy, DR 17, max dex +2, armour check pen -2, weight 6kg
