Check the end of Rebirth again... Borsk is riding the rancor that is the NR Senate, because that, stupid as it is, is the best the GFFA has... don't belittle the Bothan... Borsk was one of the bravest and best characters in the NJO... even if he didn't realise it himself...

    Fey'lya was a coward.

He was brave enough to ignore common sense and practical decency, if that counts.

He did redeem himself in the end though, that counts for something.

He did not redeem himself. He sat in his office and figured Coruscant's defenses would chase away the Vong so there was no need to order the destruction of a database that could have meant the Vong would have ended the Vong war sooner than it actually ended. The only reason they didn't get a hold of that database was because folks like Han and Leia had to practically bully him into destroying the database so as to keep it out of the Vong's hands. Then when it was clear the Vong were going to take the capital, he sat in his office while others actually fought for their lives, hoping to make it possible for a few more to escape. And he figured he get Tsavong Lah come down to him, to him mind you, and blow him up so that he'd be remembered posthumously. He didn't take the action of actually going to him and attempting to take him out that way. No, he wanted the action to be that of the enemy. Yet he could have helped man the guns, even if it meant he was still going to die. At least then he would have actually done something more than sit around and wait for others to do it.

Well, he didn't escape on his ship when he had the chance, and go lead a new life somewhere far away, so that should count for something.

Killing 25000 Yuuzhan Vong counts as redeeming himself in my view.

I think that Fey'lya did end up redeeming himself in his last moments of life just by taking the lives of 25000 Yuuzhan Vong (thats alot of vong). You also have to remeber that the reason that no one like Fey'lya is because he is a Politcian and nothing more, Leia was a Politcian, Warrior, Jedi etc..... Fey'lya is more like a real life Political- government offical (I know I am sterotyping) Basically they just want power for themselves and their people, but when it comes down to it they will do what needs to be done for the betterment of everyone
