YVHs, Where are they now?

What happened to all the YVHs out there fighting the Vong? Why don't we every hear about them anymore? WHY!!!!!

(In case you can't tell, I thought the YVHs were pretty neat...)

 

Yeah. The only one I've seen recently is the one in my Short Story. I thought YVH's were awesome.

 

1. They're in limited production.
2. There were only limited numbers of them in all of the books.
3. They're protecting the heads of the new government.

 

Masterskywalker, I thought that in DW, through the use of blackmail and extortion, Lando got the Senators to approve a bill that would allow YVH to go into mass production.

I assume that the next battle we see in the NJO SHOULD have a bunch of YVHs in them. But then again, DR never does what it should do.

 

Didn't they go around giving a bunch of those things away? Local governments are probably using them a lot, and will be until they produce some more. It takes a while to mass produce a bunch of droids, enough to become pervasive throughout a galaxy.

Production takes time though. And the armor used for YVHs are expensive stuff.

 

What about the mouse droids with the Vong sensors. Those should be spread out too.

 

It's kinda ironic. The last people to utilise droids for combat lost to clones. Now it looks like battle droids may be the saviours of the galaxy

 

Word is that they're working on a new model.

They're chilling on Endor with the Gungans, Ewoks, Anakin Solo, Dark Lady Lumiya, the Nagai, the Zeltrons and all of the rest of EU Limbo...

 

They've been in SBS and Rebel Dream.

One thing that's never mentioned in the books, considering just how armoured and armed they are, is what their exorbitant cost must be.

 

Does this mean that post-NJO is going to chronicle the Federation's war against SkyNet?

 

The last mention of YVH's was in Destiny's Way. It said that many of them were assigned to be a personal bodyguard for Cal Omas. Also, I think they produce more of the mouse droid variants now.

 

In The Final Prophecy they should introduce the new YVH model, it'll be liquid metal and everything

I'll be the first to admit that Anakin Solo is in limbo.

Yeah. Anakin is probably shootin craps with Asyr Sei'lar and some of Page's commandos.

I know that you're making a joking reference to the Terminator movies, but I'm sure that YVH's have self-healing metals already.
