Well, ILM knows what to do, they've done it before in T2. This might actually look very interesting.

I thought a number of the insiders here stated there was no shape shifting characters in AotC.

Oh well, at least I finally found out what a Clawdite is.

 

Mandalorians, Sith Councils, shape-shifting baddies anyone?

 

So that's what all this clawdite talk was about. I've been hearing about this shape shifter thing for about a month now. It's very T2 and Tolkienesque. It seems a bit much to fit in with the other films. I'd prefer her to be a bounty hunter who got caught.

 

I'll have to see this in silver screen to believe.

I'm with Darth Sapient... making her a shapeshifter to boot is just overkill really...

Hell a relentless bounty hunter/assassin who just doesn't quit is pretty kick ass, as is.

And she's a shapeshifter, but she never incorporates that into her assassination plots? Granted the Jedi would sense her intent, but you'd imagine it'd play in there somewhere other than 'random shape death scene # 3'.....

I can just see Lucas piling on though in manic glee... "Okay, she's badass.. and cute.. and has tight clothes.. and a rifle.. and a speedy craft... and an assassin droid.. and killer bugs... and she's a shapeshifter... and she's a former senator from Clawdonia... and she has a ship like the Millenium Falcon... and an adamantium skeleton.. and... "

 

I suppose I will have to live with the fact that she is a shapeshifter, Its copying Terminator 2 if you ask me. Not a good move, IMO.

I am back and shocked and amazed, I guess you could say i am 'shamazed' at this idea.

if they are not going to work it into how she attacks people, then i guess it really is overkill when she dies to show her disguises.

Maybe for one brief flash we will see the face of Panaka! as one of her disguises.

So, by going through her guises BACK to the original shape, does that mean we'll see EVERY shape she has ever held?

And does that mean she hasn't been her original shape since the beginning and just goes from look to look without any return to a base image?

Long as she doesn't have blue scaley pseudo naked skin, I'm there!

 

That is not cool in my eyes. It totally changes my impression of her.

 

Could Zam be Aurra Sing then? ?

 

Look at the Mystery trailer. In the nightclub, although she has the same outfit, you can't see her face. Maybe she shape-shifts to disguise herself while being persued by the Jedi?

its not like T2. her outfit doesnt shapeshift with her body. come on...

Zam using her abilities to hide in the nightclub to briefly avoid obi wan's detection would at least give this power some functional role in the movie.

 

Plus it would make the bar scene alot cooler. The audience would be like "Look out Obi! She's behind you, but she's just unrecognizable, but she's behind you! Look out!" Then WHAM!
