    "Star Wars to me was original"

    Are you crazy? There never has been and never will be anything in Star Wars that didn't come directly from:

    * Mythology as dictated by Joseph Campbell

    * Old serials like "Flash Gordon"

    * Various comics books

    * Akira Kurosawa's samaurai films

    * Miscellaneous films like "Ben Hur" or "The Searchers"

    You're just fooling yourself if you think otherwise. Get a clue.

    Dah!
    But she's so hot :(
    Now that hot person is like. . . slime or something. Ick.
    As for a shapeshifter in SW it's fine by me. I don't really care either way. Well, besides hot chick being slime or something.

    Does this scene now remind anyone else of the "Dodge This" scene in The Matrix when the agent changes shapes after being shot?

    A. Sly Moore is not a shape shifter and does nothing beyond standing in the background.

    B. Nor is Dooku. He does not change shape, he is simply revealed as being a Sith at the end of the movie.

    Dang, there go my bowel movements...

    COME BACK HERE!

    Anyway, the whole shapeshifting thing would explain the goofy get-up Sly Moore wears (the embarrassment of getting stuck in clothing 18 sizes too big for you). As for Episode-X's "spy report," (which I can't see in its entirety because the site always makes my browser crash), it's, how you say, rubbish? I'll believe it when I see it...or when I see it make sense.

    From the OS Episode Databank:

    Exotic and enigmatic, Zam Wesell kept her true visage hidden beneath a fabric veil and a screen of deadly deception. A swift assassin and tireless bounty hunter, Wesell used a variety of advanced gear and accessories in tracking her prey. Her legendary capture rate attests to her unerring marksmanship and unflagging dedication to her duty.

    Notice the phrase "deadly deception?" What's more deceptive than pretending to be someone else?

    Ever wonder why you never saw Leia, the rancor keeper, and the wampa in the same scene together.....?

    I think the theory that it is the effect of the dart that withers Zam into a 'orc' like corpse makes the most sense.\

    the kyber dart is a unique weapon and must have some kind of special/deadly technique to set it a part from traditonal weapons. Why else would they be so rare?

    It would be easy for someone who jsut saw that scene out of context to mistake it for shapeshifting.

    I just hope that as Zam lays dying, slowly transforming into Sio Bibble he utters:

    "And I would have got away with it if it wasn't for you meddling kids!"

    If this is true (and I dont mind if it is) lets hope we see more of her ability in the new comics. A shapeshifter would certinly be a cool edition to the Star Wars galaxy. And lets not forget that anything can happen in this kind of film. I like Jar Jar. Very funny guy.

    And I'm pretty sure X-men got that from T2. When they killed T-2000, I believe he changed into everyone he has ever been. IMagine that.

    "It never states anywhere that her clothing doesnt change shape too. So that can pretty much be put to rest.

    That was something someone in here came up with."

    Dude i didnt make that up. I dont EVER make things up.

    and for all the people saying i'll have to wait to see the movie to believe it... well you wont have to wait til the 16th to find out. you'll be able to find out for yourself before the movie's even out.
