Yea, not sure why they gave him that accent, sounds bad cockney or trying to hard where it comes off almost like the Clone's who were supposed to sound like NZ. Maybe thats the point though, dunno, but I don't care for it much so far. A voice similar to his Wolverine wouldve been better I think. I saw his short clip, and again those Stormtroopers are as awful and silly as B1 droids or the Cobra's from ARAH 80's toon.

 

Provide he spoke some alien language, which Ezra couldn't understand.

Think the species is "Lasat" in the EU.

Wonder though if the writers were watching Jason Statham's "Crank". Chev Chelios/Zeb Orrelios, never know, heh.

"Lothrat" or "loth-rat" to me sounds like a slur against those of the planet Lothal and probably a animal rat critter as well. You may be confusing Lasat with this Loth-rat.

I figured it was probably meant as a minor racial slur/Derogatiry term for people on Lothal in this particular respect

 

Because of the reviews I was expecting Zeb to be irritating character but he was not (at least in the first episodes) and my gf said he looks like Jack Nicholson

I dunno.... maybe a little XD

 

Still not keen on Zeb, but I don't think he's a **** now.

 

I dont think the voice/accent goes with the face. But one could argue he learned basic from Imperials with cockney accents or Clones with their exaggerated accents, but I dont know.

I think his Logan style accent/voice wouldve more suited the character.

 

His fight against Kallus was great. Looking forward to seeing those two meeting again.

 

I love Zeb...and that includes the look and accent. At least he's different. Everybody else are just a bunch of clones.

 

The Kallus nutter reminds me of an imitation Ozzik Sturn, cept he had a fixation with Wookies and hunted other alien creatures for sport and fun.

That's how relevant Zeb is right now.

 

I like Zeb, he reminds me of Starscream from Transformers Prime with that Blummy voice of his.

 

Maybe that's because they're both voiced by Steven Blum?
