Zekk founding Imperial Knights?

I thought I read somewhere that Zekk founded the Imperial Knights. Is this true, or was it just speculation?

It certainly sounds cool. If Jaina is indeed this "IWod" (love this term, by the way ), and marries a Fel (probably Jag), then it'd be cool to see Zekk as her protector and form the Knights.

Let me get this straight...Jaina marries Jag, yet Zekk still hangs around her.

There has been no confirmed origin for either the Fel Dynasty or the Imperial Knights, nor has the number for the latter even been stated.

 

What's to stop them (besides LFL) from going all Honor Harrington and having a three-way marriage?

I'm going to disagree with that in the interests of maintaning some credibility as a cantankerous and difficult-to-control mercenary.

 

Zekk is not the founder of the Imperial Knights, but he is the source from which their "leader" is grown.

 

Yes, but he did have to at least maintain the appearance of independance in the interests of Mando self-respect, hence that bit of unpleasantness on Maryx Minor.

 

Jaina isn't the kind of person who would marry a dictator and yet she's supposedly the 'IWoD.' Just because something doesn't make sense doesn't mean it won't happen.

Soontir being Fel I would make more sense than Jag being Fel I(though I thought Jag was the leading theory for Fel I.) It would also make more sense sense for her to be fine with marrying (Fury Spoilers)the disgraced and disowned son of an emperor. Of course, I'm not sure that Jaina and Jag's children would be considered legitimate heirs to the throne given that Jag is now completely severed from the Fels and the Chiss.

 

I'm not sure what the Chiss have to do with anything. They're not even IN the Fel Empire, despite the presence of a Chiss Moff in Legacy.
