FTeik: Have you no respect for the line of Lord Vader?
If you're asking them to "do something totally different" so it won't be so predictable, well....it's pretty easy to always figure out what the SW writers are trying to do way in advance. For example, I thought it was pretty obvious that Darth Krayt was A'Sharad Hett after his first appearence. I mean...his tattoos were identical and his Darth name was "Krayt"...a dragoon only found on Hett's home planet Tatooine.
I agree that I wish we could be surprised, but since they usually take too long to finally reveal something, its usually already figured out.
Even the fate of Zayne Carrick is almost pretty obvious (especially since the writers have said they are going to throw a big curve into the stroyline).....that comment alone basically spoiled it for me.
You mean that traiterous piece of scum, that threw our beloved emperor down a reactor-shaft in RotJ?
If I'm honest Darth Krayt being Hett WAS a surprise to me (they took a guy, who has been out of the picture for 150 years or more). I already didn't liked the idea of K'Kruhk being in Legacy. I mean, what is the point of purging the (flawed) Jedi-order of the PT so they can start anew with Luke Skywalker, if all of those old bags show up and meddle with things. Next thing is Quinlan Vos or one of his descendants, who will show up, but then I'm seriosly going to consider, if I continue buying the comics.
As one of the greatest EU-novels - HttE - put it: "It is honorable to remember old teachers and friends, but chaining yourself to them gives the past too much power of the present."
Or something like that.
Fynric Fel for emperor.
He won't be that, definitely, since we know the Fel line is descended from Soontir.
Are they? Because IIRC nowhere is mentioned, that they're descendants of Soontir.
Zekk is pure jedi he would never leave the order to start his own.
And he slipped.
The Ultimate Visual Guide.
EDIT: And Soontir has not disowned Jag. He spent his own private money trying to rescue his son. It's an obligation imposed on him by the society in which he lives that has banished Jag and forbidden him from coming back. That has nothing to do with Soontir and everything to do with Chiss society.
Umm, wasn't that released in 2005?
2007 special revised edition.
If you don't mind my asking, did it say anything else about the Fel Dynasty? I hadn't heard that there was a re-release, I'll have to order it.
Allow me to ask for an exact quote.
Jag is the Cuckold.
Jag = King Arthur
Jaina = Guinevere
Zekk = Lancelot
The Imperial Knights of the Round Table! (They dance whenever they're able... )
Zekk strikes me as more of a Sir Robin, actually.
I've now got a desire for the Imperial Knights to encounter Jaxxon... I hear he has a vicious streak a mile wide.
Only if you wish to see him blown up with the Holy Hand Grenade of Ossus.
I'm thinking the presence of an "Inquisitor Draco" in the post-RotS/Pre-ANH timeframe likely has more to do with Imperial Knights than Zekk.
Maybe "Draco" is Zekk's unmentioned last name.
That would be weird.
Allow me to ask for you to buy it and ship it to my house, and you've got it.
The relevant phrase about Roan Fel is: "... a descendant of the legendary Soontir Fel..."
I'm still casting my preference on Jag and Zekk getting together and genetically engineering themselves an heir, grown in a Spaarti cylinder.
...Hey, a guy can dream.
Taun We is still around! Perhaps she can help them!
They'd need an egg from a donor.
IWOD: The prophecy must be fulfilled.
Not with a Spaarti cylinder.
