Gaming Zelda Fans Come Hither...

So apparently they're starting to hand out Tri Force Heroes demo download codes like they did with Smash 3DS. I just got three in my email.

Here's 7 minutes on single player. The puzzles seem challenging, which is good, but having to use the stylus to switch between the characters and then back to the controls to do something quick before time runs out reminds me of some of the frustrating elements from Phantom Hourglass / Spirit Tracks.

My brother sent me a code and I downloaded it last night, after a system update. The online co-op hours are between 5 PM - 10 PM PT tonight. If anyone wants to play, let me know. I hope I get a chance to.

I was able to play with two randoms "Green!" and "Brooklyn", and we beat the jello looking boss, but the overall experience was really choppy. Are their servers getting hammered or is it just my crappy internet (or possibly both?)

Well, its official, Twilight Princess is coming to the Wii U (not that its much of a surprise by now). A Wolf Link Amiibo too. At least it'll help pass the time until more Wii U Zelda news is announced.

 

Finally, they made a girl version of Zelda.

 

They've gone back to the concept art to the game and made Linkle a reality… I really hope the Wii U owners can get the content too.

Picked up Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks off the eShop (At last!!) and I really want that Wolf Link Amiibo + soundtrack. I do love how the art style for Zelda U has developed.

 

Probably won't be on the Legends launch date but I'm confident they will at some point like they did with the preorder costumes, they'd be foolish not to.

The thing I'm most concerned about is exclusive amiibo content...I want to unlock everything on both versions so will I have to waste $20 on an NFC reader to get the Spinner on the 3DS version?

 

Don't forget we got 13 seconds of the New Zelda Wii U game!

I've already bought 3 units in the 3DS family, I'm not too keen on dropping $200 on a fourth. Especially when the only benefit is amiibo support and a single re-released Wii game.
