wat? i'm confused? what awsome song?
The song is "Mad World", used famously in "Donny Darko" and one of the first Gears of War trailers. Didn't know it was a Tears For Fears song, though.
The version in Donnie Darko and Gears of War is by Gary Jules, but the original was by tears for Fears.

Is anyone else surprised by how much he liked it?
I'd also like to thank ZP for turning me onto Unskippable. In a Tom Servo-less world, those two are an acceptable substitution.
The questions Yahtz raises are oddly mirroring situations in 24 lately...
Hoo boy...how so? Considering every situation in any given season of "24" (especially the latest one) involves a series of events spawning from one or more conspiracies and distintc random (or not so random) series of events for Mr. Bauer to unravel within a 24 hr. period. I'm a fan, yeah, but sometimes suspension of disbelief at many 24 situations/plotlines is strained to the breaking point.
The current season presently deals with an american private army organization like Blackwater attacking the US- though not with out and and out large scale warfare, still, all the troops, missles and bioweapons facilities kinda make you wonder.
Not really. HAWX is a fun game, especially when doing coop missions.
I'm surpised by any game he gives a (mostly) positive review of.
The rather mixed reviews (and the economy as well, for that matter), made me balk at it even though I must've pre-ordered it from a local GameStop. It seems too arcadey, really. Like Ace Combat without the Japanese flavor. Eh, I might give it a rental tryout one of these days.

Today's ZP is [link=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/714-The-Chronicles-of-Riddick-Assault-on-Dark-Athena]The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena[/link]
Is it just me, or have his reviews declined in quality lately? They just don't seem as thought out or funny.
I have not noticed a change in quality, therefore I humbly disagree.

These last two were classic.

I can see what he was trying, but it didn't work for me at all.
This game isn't out yet, is it?
No, and I doubt it ever will be.
Edit: although I did capture this little gem:
"And thus begins an epic tale of redemption and self-discovery that will take us from the sweedish ghettos to beyond the furthest stars!"
I'm quoting that Forever.
I also love the underwater Hendrix adventure in the credits.
