Today is Election Day in the United States. Because this election is so hotly contested, tempers and tensions have run high. In an attempt to keep order, we are now implementing the Zero Tolerance policy.

Effective immediately, and until further notice, any inappropriate behavior can earn the users involved an immediate ban for at least 24 hours. These bans can be given without warning. If users are deemed to be causing too much trouble because of the election, we reserve the right to issue bans that last until the election is decided (whether that takes a day or a month).

We strongly encourage all users to sit back and think about what you say before you post. Please keep your comments respectful at all times. Regardless of what someone else may do, you still control what you post. If someone irritates you, don't respond in an inflammatory manner. Report it to a mod, and let us deal with it.

This policy is not up for debate. If you don't feel that you can abide by this policy, please do not post in the Senate.

I hope that we can all cooperate to keep the Senate an enjoyable place for everyone.

    Kimball Kinnison
