Didn't care for the TPM one. Don't remember if I ever watched the others.

 

He makes some good points though. The pizza roll/kidnapped prostitute stuff is a little grating, but generally his criticism hits the mark I think.

 

There's also something to be said for being concise. And yeah, if it were just Stoklasa being normal or playing a more tolerable character, then I'd probably have a more favorable opinion.

 

The Plinkett reviews would be better with all of the rapist/murderer crap left out. It's bad taste. And it could use a edit.

I can't stand Plinkett. I'm not saying the prequels are perfect, but a lot of his points are easily refutable using dialogue and events from the movies. He's just seething with hatred and rancor, all played for laughs with that horrid, fake voice.

I saw the RLM reviews for Star Trek Insurrection and Star Trek Nemesis, and while he made some good points on those films (because they deserved it), I just couldn't bring myself to watch his prequel reviews, mostly because of that damn voice. That, and I'm pretty tired of prequel-bashing in general.

Bashing the PT and saying GL is something like the devil incarnate pretty much jumped the shark before RLM uploaded their TPM review to the internet.

 

It's satire but in it is legit film critic stuff.

Its nitpicking. He wouldnt do the same for the OT.

 

Just throwing it out there: Is anybody else planning on not getting anything on Force Friday? I've kind of gotten out of toy collecting, and I can't think of getting any toys, even something like the Micro Machines or the die-cast vehicles Hasbro and Mattel are making. Maybe I'm just getting old, but the whole toy side of the hobby is getting tiring to me.

 

Guys, guys, maybe taking out the things that make the Plinkett reviews memorable (the incredible length and the disturbing framing sequence) is not the best idea.

 

yes I'm going to miss all the action, as much fun as it sounds to hang out at the Toys R Us on a Friday night.
