    Pretty sure the EU beat you to it. There was this Order 66 survivor who ended up as king of a technologically less-advanced race who had steam-powered starships that kinda looked like that sub. Those ships shot lightning bolts and they even jury-rigged the Falcon with one of those guns...

    And some folks still mourn that EU. 8-}

    I figured the EU had already gone down the steampunk plus ship sized lightsaber route.

    The steampunk guy was from Dark Empire II (you can tell by the terrible art style) and Darksaber was not a giant lightsaber but only shaped like one (much better). For all the flak the KJA **** gets, I always thought the Dark Empire series was worse. Maybe that's just because Curtis Saxton decided to take out his tape measure and classify the formless blobs the artist vomited onto the page as "Star Dreadnoughts."

    "The Trilogy Where We Pretended We Didn't Use CGI But Really It's All Over The Place Suckas"

    I don't understand this criticism. Of course there's going to be some CGI. There's no deception or pretense involved in saying you're emphasizing practical effects just because you're using some CGI.

    Well, I said I wasn't buying any Force Day merch. But I was unaware of the Star Wars LEGO advent calendar. Have to have it before the film release, so....

    So I decided to go check out my Toys-R-Us this afternoon. Predictably, all the action figures were gone, but there were plenty of Lego left. I got the Poe Dameron X-Wing fighter (including a little BB-8!) as well as the Advent Calendar which was simply too awesome to pass up. The cashier was also really cool. He told me when they're getting and putting up their next shipment of Star Wars toys, which might include the BB-8 Sphero. Fingers crossed!

    Just back from a Walmart for other stuff, but swung by the toys. They had all the figures, I think.

    Oh, I'd like to get as many of the Advent calendars as I could to sell at the store!

    I can get you about 15. Well more, that was from the two wall worlds I went to today. And I have about fifty close by.

    That was before I clocked in last night, so by the time I left, the entire section was stocked & ready to go (my store didn't do a midnight sale event)... I wonder how much will be left when I get there tonight. More importantly, how much I'm willing to spend/what can I fit into my locker? :p

    I'm at the opposite end of fluent but I'm aware of the disappointing answer: Analog-Stick.

    Timmo there isn't a clap slow enough for this post. One clap every 12billion years would be too quick.
