Ewan McGregor was the best part of the PT. Sadly he had to be with the worst part of the PT (Hayden Christensen) most of the time.

John Williams was the best part of the Three Licensed Fan Fiction Movies that were released between 1999-2005.

The PT does at least have great music in its favour.

And Ewan was hardly the best thing about the PT, the whole trilogy was set up as the Ian McDiarmid show.
In fact all the villains (aside from Greivous) were the best parts.

Aside from Grievous?! Grievous is my favourite villain in the entire saga.

Agreed.Grevious was a fun Star Wars villain. I’d go so far as to say that he probably ties with Thrawn as most people’s favourite villain after Vader and the Emperor.

I like General Grievous because it's one aspect of the PT where they just really go for it. It's a giant robot with human organs that can't stop coughing and wields four (eight?) lightsabers at a time. Just watching him staggering around was such a pleasure. He legit made me smile like non-stop, particularly with that hilariously bombastic seemingly anvil-based theme Williams cooked up.

I thought the biggest issue with the PT, besides PT fans (ugh), is that they spent all their time going for it and forgot about making a good film. It's basically just a VFX reel that numpties like because when they were children they could play along with plastic figures more expressive than their screen counterparts.

They teased him before the film was released. I was excited.
But how he was portrayed in the film was typical of the PT: total letdown.

I think I liked him more in the 2008 Clone Wars animated series. Yeah, he had his moments of cowardice, but he was pretty damn menacing most of the time. In one of the cancelled episodes he takes down Obi-Wan in seconds.

I used to be a mega Roald Dahl fan and sing the praises of his short horror stories for adults all the time until I read this one single Roald Dahl quote and now I agree he is somewhere on the naff spectrum between a tad and extremely.
