Hmmm, maybe. I was an adult too but just barely, and I think only one friend out of my group didn't like it. Funny enough he likes it a lot more now for some reason, and I think I like TPM a bit less now than I did then.

I wasn't a Star Wars fan at all at the time and I liked it a lot. I also held no nostalgia whatsoever for the OT, and I like the OT a ton more now than I did. So maybe that played into it? I also think you'd have to already be into Star Wars to be willing to put up with those reviews.
