I'd watch a movie where Boba Fett struggles with GPS for two hours before getting run over by a speeding landspeeder.

 

New Rogue One poster revealed. Definitely puts the "war" in Star Wars. And the cast has just be introduced.

Oops, I forgot about this, and it's the one thing I wanted to watch.

 

I'm so excited that I can't breath.

Two uses of the sizzle reel on the live stream? Yeah, we aren't getting a second trailer.

The sizzle is three minutes long, so I'm assuming that's all we're getting.

 

I still believe a 2nd trailer will drop. It's going to close out the panel.

Even if a trailer is being shown to celebration Europe II its something that we aren't seeing yet.

 

I'd like to offer the following controversial hot take: Rogue One seems like it will probably be a fun Star War.

 

Yeah, they get to see it now, we'll get it soon.

But the sizzle is great. Still bashing the PT.

 

English isn't Jiang Wen's primary language. He let something slip...

It sounds like he accidentally revealed that Donnie Yen's character dies.

@Sith_Sensei_Prime, I think we (the streaming audience) is getting the sizzle reel 3 times. The physical audience is getting something else.

 

Yeah.

I guess we're just going to have to wait until a Monday Night Football game or Jimmy Kimmel episode to get the second trailer.

Perhaps, since Kathleen Kennedy asked everyone to put their phones away and not to take pictures. I bet it was something featuring Darth Vader.

 

Hayden Christensen shows up and apologizes?

 

The twitter-sphere is saying that they were shown new footage/trailer that will premier tonight on ABC apparently.

Edit: Of course, I'd take that with a grain of salt personally.

 

Yeah, I forgot about the ABC Star Wars thing tonight. That makes sense.

 

It'd kind of make sense if they released a new trailer now and attached it to either Ghostbusters or STB because both look like they're going to underperform.

 

So the world is denied something a few hours because ABC viewing figures?



Seriously though, the trailer that was supposed to air on ABC tonight is listed as three minutes long, pretty long for a trailer. Just so happens it's the length of the sizzle reel. Anyone hoping for anything else tonight better hold their breath.

There was a description saying there was a three minute trailer for Rogue One in the middle of this airing.



Three minutes is pretty long for a modern trailer, however the sizzle reel shown tonight measures at 2:57.

 

The Rogue One footage is outstanding. More of the lots of practical mixed in with the lots of CGI in keeping with the style of TFA. love love love. Looks more OT than most of the OT.

They should toss that "Rebellion Built on Hope" crap and go with

"More OT than the OT"
