Wait, TNT, as in Turner Network Television? Unprecedented! Why that plucky superstation may catch on yet!

 

Watching TFA on TV won't have the same appeal as watching it in the theaters where JJ Abrams directed the movie and George Lucas directed me to my seat.

 

Scott Mendelson at Forbes posted his worst-case scenario for Rogue One box office, which also more or less definitionally encompassed his worst case scenario for the quality of the movie itself, which isn't all that terrible, but seems pretty plausible:

I don't know about the Suicide Squad comparisons, since I haven't seen that movie, but if you're looking for a good benchmark to spot your "expectations setting," this seems like the place.

 

There's got to be something done with Inside The NBA during this.

 

Rogue One won't have a soundtrack done by a committee of chimpanzees, so that's a plus so far.
