I think it'd be perfectly fine for this thread to be nothing but endless memes all the way to December. Better than the alternative anyway (the alternative being "anything else").

    Done.

But I'm tempted to relike it just so I can unlike it again.

"Attack of the Clones" turned 15 years old this year. IGN put out a list of 15 things they loved. I can't believe they found 15 things because they then criticize their own list. Idiots.

My favorite thing about AOTC was definitely the 1st time I saw the Yoda/Dooku scene and seeing/hearing the reaction of the audience. I also liked the surprise when R2 flew. That's pretty much it. My biggest problem with the movie, back then and to this day, was that they split up Obi-wan and Anakin. I was hoping to see them work together, ya know, like the successful Clone Wars cartoon show did that went on for six seasons and might have gone on longer if the Disney sale didn't happen. I digress.

What do you love hate about AOTC? Let's poop emoji on the movie for its birthday!

    Like:

--the first view of the clones. Creepy as hell.
--the speeder chase scene. What every Obi-Wan and Anakin scene in the film should have been.
--Obi-Wan telling Anakin to go do the dirty work while he gets a drink.
--the Lars garage scene. It was well done.
--the dinner. "Aggressive negotiations are negotiations with a lightsaber." The picnic scene when Anakin and Padme were joking around. The first kiss. Shut up, I liked it.
--the wedding scene. Nice piece of silent filmmaking there.
    --Yoda and Dooku fighting.

    Dislike:

--the initial scene in Padme's apartment. Anakin, shut up. Even Jar-Jar is embarrassed.
--the scene in Jamilla's throne room. Anakin, shut up. You're making a fool of yourself in front of a planetary government.
--the fireplace scene. Anakin, shut up. This is the most melodramatic **** I have ever heard. Kisses don't become scars.
--not enough Obi-Wan and Anakin missions, and yes, TCW thankfully made up for that, without so many incidents in which Anakin needed to shut up.

This is the absolute worst prequel for me.

Yeah, I'm not really finding much to like in there. Could there be individual seconds that were good? Perhaps. But the majority of the movie was just so utterly terrible that if you have to wade through **** to find a low quality gem, well it's just not worth it.

I liked Jango Fett's bombs' sound effect and this really neat tie-in board game for AotC and the OT that they made where it was kind of this interesting blend of miniatures and card game combat, even though I remember it being fairly unbalanced because you pretty much only ever wanted to play as Darth Vader or Obi-Wan.

Which was this? Not the WotC minis game?

That the best you can like is something somewhat superficial (the sound, not you) does say a lot.

TPM felt Star Warsy and was like a history documentary disconnected in ways it was never meant to be disconnected from the OT. ROTS had one great moment that I can recall, which is the opening shots of the space battle.

Apparently it was called Epic Duels.

Which would probably explain why I couldn't remember the name. :p

Where is the love, I ask all of you, for duels that are just, well, kind of low-stakes and ordinary? You know, two regular folks, fighting to the death over a question of personal honour against a slight that nobody else heard? Why have they no board games of their own?

There are likely not 15 total things to love in this film, my least favorite SW film of all.

The one thing about AOTC that I'd say is consistently good throughout the movie is the music. It might have one of the worst on-screen romances ever put to film, but damn if it wasn't the best scored horrible romance. Sure Williams reused a bunch of cues from TPM, but the new stuff was pretty great.
