The fighters made for the Jedi defending Zonama Sekot in TUF...

    Where are they?

Sure they wern't capable of hyperspace but I was under the impresssion that these fighers were really good and very much desired. Why are the Jedi not using these vessles in The Dark Nest/LoTF?

Yeah, and they weren't the Jedi's ships persay, they belong to Sekot. If you remember, He/It/Wierd planet thingy took them over when the Jedi tried to do things that he/it/wierd planet thingy didn't want them to do and it took control of the ships at the end.

Still, they were pretty cool ships w/ upgraded VOng tech.

Was there something about them not working as well the farther they got from Sekot? I seem to recall that. Or I may be thinking of something else entirely.

I thought that there was something about that....like they die or something if taken away from the planet.

Missed oportunity there for the jedi to get new ships instead of the old boring x-wings. Stealths were kinda meh for me [face_worried]

Yea in Rogue Planet when Anakin and Obi-Wan take the Jabitha away it starts to die. I am guessing if Sekot REALLY REALLY wanted to it could make ships that would not die.

No. Jabitha died because she was wounded in the battle. It wasn't a distance thing. The whole point was that Sekot was making seedships to sell to wealthy people across the galaxy.

I think the planet reclaimed them because it wanted to. For Tahiri it wanted to let her fly further away. Remember from Rogue Planet there were people who came to Sekot to buy the ships, weren't there ?

Maybe I'm misremembering, but I think Jacen was still flying his Sekotan at the start of TJK - Yoggoy tried to give him a Reconstruction Authority ChaseX instead...

Certainly, Rogue Planet shows that while Sekotan ships remain bonded with the planet, they are capable of hyperspace travel and extended operation anywhere in the Galaxy...

Jacen doesn't have a Sekotan skiff in TJK, but Tahiri does.
