Reminder about NE FF Banquet and ComiCon

Hiya,
The NE Awards Banquet is quickly approaching. This is just a friendly little reminder. If you are planning on coming (and we very much hope you are) and you haven't already done so, please send in your payment for the Banquet. (details about banquet and payment are below)
Comicon is in Pittsburgh, April 27 to 29. There are many, many SW events going on at ComiCon including panels on collecting, fanfilms, podcasting, academic themed exploration of the films, and costuming. . Friday night is a social with a showing of the film A Great Disturbance. There will be a tattoo contest on Saturday . There will be a Kids activity room all day Saturday. The Special SW Guest at ComiCon is Peter Mayhew, who will be at ComiCon at all three days.
Join us at the 3rd Annual North East Region FanForce Awards. There will be dinner, door prizes, entertainment, and awards. To see photos from last year's fun filled Awards go here
When: Saturday, April 28, 2007
Doors open at 6 PM, buffet dinner is served from 6:30 to 8 PM
Awards show begins at 7:30 PM
Where: Monroeville Radisson Hotel, location of Pittsburgh Comicon
How much: $25 check/money order or $26 Paypal
Admission price includes a lavish buffet, entertainment, and a door prize raffle ticket
Deadline for ticket purchase is April 20, 2007

Thanks, everyone . The award is for "Their Only Chance", which I posted on the TA boards a few months ago. It was my first SW fanfiction - before that, I'd only written Harry Potter fic.
All my fics are linked on my profile here. Most are what they call one-shots - short stories of one chap each. Two of them marked as WIP are works in progress, and both are already novel length. Speaking of, I REALLY need to update those... yeesh. Been a while!

It's a guilty feeling, isn't it? Each time I update, I promise myself that it'll just be a two week wait for the next chapter, then things come up.... How long has it been for you since your last update?

I was never able to get too much into SW fanfic, I read a few here and there, but I am absolutely addicted to HP fanfic. You should post some of that. =D

Almost all of my HP fanfic is at fanfiction.net, under penname Wendynat  . A lot of them are answers to "challenges"... I liked to flex my plotting muscles by taking on challenges from online groups (someone comes up with a totally improbable scenario and you have to make it work).
Never thought I'd get into other fanfiction, but then RotS came out and I HAD to fill in the "why did Padme let herself die" question for myself, and that was it for me . I was hooked!
