The Return of Fantasci

It is official Fantasci, the popular Chesapeake Science Fiction Convention is returning.
Dates: September 28th through 30th.
Place: Hampton Roads Convention Center Hampton Virginia
Cost: To be determined
Hotel: Many in the area, one with a block of rooms, more to follow.
Food: Many great resturants all within a short distance of the Convention Center
I am the program director and anyone wishing to participate in the programing can contact me through this thread for more information.
Two other Tidewater Alliance members are also directors:
Ashara Leiani (Dawn Kerman) is the Director of Fan relations
Jaina Solo (Kelly Gable) is the Director of Vendor relations
If you are interested in hosting a fan table or if you are a vendor and would like to book space you can also contact us through this thread for more information.
With time and support Fantasci proves to become one of the largest Eastern Conventions short of Dragon Con.
Put this on your calenders and plan on attending. I will post more information as it developes.

We are now ready to begin accepting interested individuals who would either like to vend, bring your group or take part in the programing. Feel free to contact us and let your friends know about this con.
Fantasci is a general Science Fiction and Fantasy convention so all are welcome from any groups not just Star Wars. I will say however there should be a strong Star Wars presence there.

Due to unforeseeable circumstances, Rick, Dawn, and myself have resigned out of Fantasci as Directors and the Tidewater Alliance (Along with our sister groups the Jedi Order and the Sith Order) will not be attending as a group. Jim Blanton had a great vision for this Convention and we had increased our participation each year since we first attended. Unfortunately the con has strayed away from that vision and into something that we will not voluntarily contribute our time and effort to. Thank you to everyone who supported us in the past and in bringing this event back, we wish we could bring back Fantasci for what it was. If you have any questions I will be happy to answer them.
