Website is really coming along now. A few touch up's and fixes need to be done, but for the most part it is complete with programming times, vendors, fangroups, ect.

FYI - March 22-23 is Easter Weekend. Didn't know that myself until a GT guy pointed it out to us. Personally, I'm pretty sure I can still do the Con.

I know this is short notice my ride had some issues come up so if I could hitch with some one that would rock
I live in norfolk off of princess anne between ingleside and azalea garden please shoot me a email if you think you can i do have a large tub for my tk armor

I'd like to thank the TA FanForce for all the hard, volunteer work you performed in making our area's only free Con a success. Given the logistical challenges of putting together such an event, you guys did an outstanding job! 
Thank you for graciously offering a table for the HRR FanForce out in the library's hallway alongside yours and offering paraphenalia and such to make our table publicly presentable! There was a bit of early morning miscommunciation on our end, and I hope we didn't too terribly inconvenience you, given the amount of work ya'll did for everyone involved, including vendors and other sci-fi/fantasy groups.
Thank you for all the logistical assistance with the EU panel!
Personally, it was great seeing some of the old faces I haven't seen in a long time and meeting new faces in the FanForce community! Awesome having dinner with you at Golden Coral and catching up on everyone's personal lives! It was a nice Easter feast!
Looking forward to Galacticon 2009!

Thanks Thumpy. I would like to thank you and the rest of the HRR for coming out and supporting us. I personally enjoyed the EU panel that your group hosted.
I would also like to extend a big thank you to everyone in the Tidewater Alliance. Galacticon would not have been a success without everyone's hard work and participation. Looking forward to a bigger and better Galacticon next year!

The second year of Galacticon has come and gone, and was a HUGE success. We would like to thank everyone who participated in this event. It was your help and contributions that made this con such a huge success. We really enjoyed having you at the con; your presence was definitely felt.
The Tidewater Alliance would like to thank Shadow, The Hampton Roads Rebellion, Garrison Tyranus, Carolina Garrison, Sabba Tribal Fusion, Star Wars Lego Builders Club, Starfleet Atlantic, The USS Jamestown, SLWickam, Tony Ruggiero, The IKV'Batleth, Joe Brown, Ghost Fire Haunts, Tower of Games, O.R.C.S, Ravencon, James Neely, and Tempest Comics for coming out and showing such great support of this con.
There were some great panels along with some exciting displays. Each and every group shined and made this con something to remember.
With this years Galacticon turning out so great, and compliments coming from the library, I can't wait to see how next year turns out. Talks with the libarary have already begun and planning for Galacticon will begin soon.
Once again, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude for all the contributions from the groups and vendors towards this year's Galacticon and we hope to hear back from you soon.
