I posted about this awhile ago. I am working out the details to produce a fanfilm in the GTA. Its tentatively titled Knightfall as it takes place around the events in Episode 3. I am forever looking for anyone and everyone who is interested to help out and a few people have expressed interest. Last week I sent out an Email with a little character and plot description to anyone who expressed interest so check your junk mail folders. If I forgot anyone or you didn't get it or would like to get it please either PM me or ask me here because I would like to drum up as much support as I can.
And of course I am always looking for people to help. I hvae a rough outline but since writing isn't my thing I need peopelt o help me turn it inot a decent script. I have a scene by scene breakdown in the works to assist with that and always value input from others.
I dont want to give too many details just yet but if you are still interested let me know. No time has been set for production yet but I am aiming for the summer some time.
I am happy to feild all questions.

Well I have had a good start for a while, but since screenwriting has never been my thing i have had difficulty making a script... I have an outline just no script. Hopefully I can continue4 gaining support. I really like this idea and raelly want it to work.

Well, if you plan to shoot in TO proper or on the GO line I can help you out depending on the dates.
If you like, you can check out my demo reel. (I directed all of that, shot some of it and edited all of it.)
I can help with things such as equipment rentals (I get free cameras, lights, etc.), cinematography, Cam opping, 1st ACing, etc. etc.

Mitch right now any help would be appreciated. I am in need of camera men and hope to get one of my buddies from college to DP this for me. I want to try to maintain a two camera setup, particularly for the action stuff. And as an expereinced filmmaker I value any input you can add to the project. Collaboration is appreciated.
And it seems I have a few writers interested now so hopefully this will start snowballing a little more.

I don't know what kind of help I can really offer becuase I am truely a jack of all trades but master of none But I would like to help in anyway you see fit, Other than Camera Woman unless you want your film to vaguely resemble The Blair Witch Project not much of a study hand unless its a sterile dressing change or giving an injection I'm afraid

Actually I need production staff. Sadly I am terrible at organizing so I need people to keep me on the right path with dates, numbers, locations etc. Basically people to keep details straight and correct. And as for you injection offer...
Oh and Mitch, what kind of Audio Equipment is available? I assume you use Nagras but I am wondering if they are analog or digital.

I just need to know any shooting dates about 2 months in advance so that I know I can be there. booking time off, especially weekends, is very difficult at times.

Nope, we don't use Nagras.
We use Tascam and Fostex DAT machines (the Fostex being the higher end of the two). As far as mics we have lavaliers, hand helds and shotguns (with boom poles).
But why would you want to record the audio externally? Aren't you doing this in DV or HD?

Because I like to capture more sound then simply whats locked to the video. For example ambience or specific sounds that might be used for a mix at a later date. In my experince with a good boom operator you can capture better dialogue then with a camcorder mic.
