Yes, of course. And btw, it's no longer called Toronto Trek. The offical title this year is TT20.

It'll be my first year and partially because you guys got me curious as to what TT20 is all about. But I'll be there. And hopefully I'll get a chance to see you all there; I will also be trying to attend these room parties, as well. Just seems like they are so much fun.

Most room parties are free (not to speak for the lovely people from either the Stargate 16 Fan Club, or the Bawls group), but some ussually have a little tip cup, for procceeds to go towards the cost of the party. It's common courtesy to leave some cash for the group that throw the room parties, because they put loads of time and effort (and sometimes money) into throwing a fantastic party, like the Bawls guys are always known to do

Ah Come now assetic don't make it sound like a guilt trip to get people to give money to charity. People like supporting the good people who get them drunk and chase them with spoons. You sound like you are trying to stay both impartial and nonjudgmental. As a member of the Bawls group I have to say all comers are welcome. But we are only one group that throws a wicked fun party. And with SG-16 joining us to expand our party this year it will be even more fun. After all no one has more bawls than SG-16. But there are parties to suit everyone's tastes, the Klingon Assault Group throws a nice one which has some great people. The Queer Continuum party is one of the best planned events at the con always with lots of cool people. The Buffy costume party last year was wonderfully well thrown too. And not to say the least of the con sponsored Ten Forward where drinks and snacks are constant throughout the con. And then of course there is the con itself which, well if you can’t find something entertaining between 8 am and 12 pm you are clinically dead. But if you really want something exciting why not talk Assetic into dressing up in her Xena costume for the con  but don’t call her gabby.
Oh, I look forward to seeing you at the Bawls party Assetic.

as the personal assistant to the high chief muckety muck and holder of the mighty Bawls (also known as Uilmutez or Seb) and I am also a survivor many Toronto Trek room parties, I bring you some fast facts about TT room parties.
1) no matter what you call TT it will always be Toronto Trek in the hearts & minds of us die hards.
2) bring yourself to the room parties, you may feel free to bring your own drinks, munchies or so one. we really dont need the money, heck im not allowed to even say the word Money to my Boss Uilmutez (Seb)
3) behave, dont fight, if you cant be nice then leave.
thats all I can think of right now, hope to see you all this weekend.
