Synopsis:
Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, "300" is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy. The film brings Miller's (Sin City) acclaimed graphic novel to life by combining live action with virtual backgrounds that capture his distinct vision of this ancient historic tale.
Opens March 9th.

The trailer got me. It looks interesting, I'd probably go see it.
But not opening night, I'll be celebrating my neice's 2nd bday in Michigan.

Sorry guys...I've been busy with deadlines for school and battling the flu. I have been meaning to post something more...Right now Tribute isn't showing show times past Thrusday. I know the midnight premiere is that night but I have class the next morning and I know other people have to be at work.
Roughly My plan would be:
Friday 9ish
Paramount/Scotia Theatre (near Much Music etc)
Until I can check times though I can't be sure. Will this be a problem for anyone else?

So here is the game plan...
WHAT: 300
WHERE: SCOTIABANK THEATRE TORONTO

WHEN: Meet there about 9:00 (showtime starts at 9:30)*
Beyond that I don't think there are any other specifics. I will be in class all day tomorrow so you can email me or PM me if you have any questions about the movie.
It is rated 18A but since everyone interested is an adult I don't see that being a problem.
*There are several shotimes available if someone would rather us switch it. I am fairly flexible when I can go.
