So Friday night while we were having dinner with Peter and Angie Mayhew [/name drop] the manager of the restaurant comes over and let's us know that some yakel in the bar recognized Peter and called all his friends who were coming down to the restaurant to ambush Peter. So they needed to be driven back to their hotel ASAP and I was the Chosen One There I was driving like crazy to make sure nobody followed us . . . with Peter Mayhew in my car. AND I almost got us lost.  But I didn't. Thank the Maker!
I got back and everyone was asking me "Did you say 'Punch it Chewie?' or 'Chewie get us outta here?'" and of course, being the tactful person I am  I didn't. I was more concerned with their safety.
We did a Con the next day and the CFF made $101 for Make-A-Wish  [see the link in my sig for more info]. Then we had dinner again that night after a Q&A session at a local theater with Peter.
And here is me with Ghost Rider:
Along the way Backpacker Luke visited your fan force chapter. We are now raffling Luke and his belongings off.
There is a thread in the Fan Force Community.
Luke acquired many items in his travels and with them he is valued at over $250! (All listed in the thread).

Rick McCallum Talks Star Wars On TV Live action TV show:
- Boba Fett will certainly be in the series and Rick wants Daniel Logan for the part.
- The series will be on cable.
- He will have a contract for 100 episodes and Rick hopes it will be extend to 400, maybe with Expanded Universe characters after the first 100.
- So no EU character for "now" in the live action show. All the characters will be new ones.
The Clone Wars Animated Series:
- The first season will have 21 episodes of 22 minutes. Steve Sansweet has already seen 6 of them.

Hi guys! I'm still alive, mostly. This semester is brutal...but on the bright side I got my oxygen liquefaction report turned in on Monday, all 77 pages of it (and need I note that between me and my other 3 group members, I wrote 65% of those pages...I just had to gripe about group work)
When are the two Star Wars TV shows coming on the air? I wish they weren't going to be on cable!!

Hehe, I had to use the industrial stapler to tack it all together
Next design project: mining the helium-3 isotope on the moon for use in nuclear energy (I'm thinking the lunar colony of New Berlin (from Star Trek) is going to make an appearance, hehehehe)
