Well I can't get out of my shift. Sorry guys. The good news is that I am now doing the schedules, so I am free next friday night, and as long as I know a week and a half in advance, I can always get off of work on that day. So hopefully this is OK, if not, I'm still open for Minis or something...
Well, since my other half is starting the night shift for the next three months I'm once again pretty well free to game any friday evening that anyone else can attend.   So start scheduling already!!   So that's this weekend and next friday if you can schedule it Mike. 
Well in that case, I'll free myself every Friday, and now we just need people to say when they CAN'T be at RPG...

So... Who's going to make it for this upcoming Friday evening for RPG on the 12th, besides Mike? Hey I want to finish this long drawn out, kicking and screaming, dragged by its feet, scenario.  OK? I've been hearing some rumblings indirectly that someone else wants to GM.  If I could be allowed to finish this off, said person who's chomping at the bit to GM could actually get started planning adventures. BUT! Not before I finish this Adventure Arc with Candy!  Now I want to know who's coming to Game? (Besides Mike)

Let me explain:
Since the current RPG is pretty much full, and if it cannot accept new members, it can't be part of the Fan Force. So some people were thinking about starting up a second RPG so that we could have more people. I had volunteered to be the GM, since I have experience in the area, but in no way were we saying that we wanted to discontinue the current RPG. I am thoroughly enjoying this game, and nobody (that I know of) wants to stop. I think the idea was to have two games going on at once. Does that explain things?

Yes it does. Thank you Mike. Now as to the statement that the RPG can't accept new players. Who told you that? I didn't say we couldn't receive new players whether Fan Force Members or otherwise, for that matter. It's just that we've had a bad run of luck with players not being able to attend due to conflicting schedule from work or social priorities that often come up at around this time of year until after New Years. At any rate, If you'd like to get things planned out for a new RPG group, I fully agree. Go for it! But could we please wrap up this adventure arc. Then the way would be cleared for a new direction of Star Wars Adventures. Besides that I wouldn't mind having a shot at gaming as a player for a change too. If you wouldn't mind?

I guess the whole 'RPG being capped' thing was just my whining coming out wrong. What I meant is that in our curent game, it's hard to do much of anything, to advance the story, when there are tons of people. But that doesn't mean we can't take new people.
And also, unless you have some ending already planned for the game, I see no problem with continuing on in the current game, even if we finish up this whole Stripper-turned-Sith Saga. I like my character, and its fun to just goof off in game, even if our main objective is completed.

Here's what I propose. Let's wrap up with the gaming arc, such as it is. We'll just try and make sure that Kathryn gets a shot at playing her pc, so we can finish off that portion of the adventure that deals with the Black Rod and what happens to it...and, ahem, Candy. After that, we'll be open for a reshuffling as some people will be heading off to parts elsewhere. Then, there will be more room for new people to join and a possible split in Game Mastering if you'd like. I'll problably stick with the original Revised Core Rule Book, as I'm content to save my money for now. Well, I'll catch you later.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!? Why do I have to be shot at???? Because my pc's in a homework-induced coma?
I really don't know the next time I'm going to be able to come to RPG, I've been doing homework for about 80 hours a week for the past several weeks, and I don't think it's going to let up until at least after Halloween.

Kathryn, dear. What are you doing when you give somebody a shot at something? This has nothing to do with 1st person shooter games. It is supposed to be an RPG. Poor, poor Kathryn. Oops. Doh! Dear gang: Unbeknownst to me, my employer chose me to work tonight for delivery to Glendale for 10:00 pm. As I'm hard up for cash I can't really afford to say nay to my employer, so with great sorrow I withdraw from tonight's tentative gaming session that we had been planning for.  I guess I'll be the Zombie instead of you Kathryn. At least by the time I get home tomorrow morning anyways.

I totally read that sentence wrong. I'm losing my mind!! I made cake the other day (to celebrate turning in the 68 page oxygen liquefaction design report) and nearly forgot to add the flour...I said to myself, "Gee this batter is runny," and then saw the flour bowl sitting at my elbow *sigh*
Have fun with that late-night delivery.
