FWHS performance of Ep. 2 music on March 28
|
This event is located at: FLOWING WELLS HIGH SCHOOL,3725 N. Flowing Wells Road.
The performance runs from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, around an hour.
The STAR WARS Episode 2 music(Main Theme and Love Theme) will be performed at the end of the concert.
This will be on a Wednesday.

Talked it over with the band director, Mr. Gaston( I think his first name is Robert) yesterday, and here is what we decided:
Told him we had decided against a food drive, he was fine with that.
Explained the probable chaos the kids seeing us would cause, and this was his solution. The band will play the Main Title Theme and the Love Theme, then will announce that the band will perform an "encore" of the STAR WARS Main Theme. That will be our cue to come out and mingle.
We will probably need to do a walkthrough, or two, before the performance, so all those participating will need to be at the school by 4:30-5:00 PM at the latest.
He would also like us to use our backdrop to pose for pictures after the concert.

That is pretty much it. We come out for the surprise value and mingle and pose for pictures.
The program only runs about an hour. So, basicly, we come out during the last number and the rest of the evening is ours for pics. I have mentioned that the bands for all of the Flowing Wells elementary schools and Junior High school will be there performing with the high school band, haven't I?

Some DSG are heading "down" to Tucson for a hospital visit, unless work does not permit Tucson's 501st are expected to show.

I'd say yes, but I have never done armor, and I'm probably not "responsible" enough. No offense taken.
EDIT: I forgot what I wanted to post about in the first place.
I can't go to the second performance, as it will be in the middle of school.
