Treasurer
In the Fan Force Communications forum Jedi Dajuan just posted the Fan Force Rules. In relation to the TFF's Treasurer issue:
10) Due and money issues
Dues are allowed, but not to be abused. If money is collected for any reason (dues, charity, any mass purchases) then the chapter needs to have a treasurer. This needs to be a different person than the CR and should not be in the same household or related to the CR. No exceptions. If it is found that a person or chapter is abusing dues or charity money the person(s) involved may be removed from FanForce.

Exactly why we did not get to it..........the meeting was very long over 4 hours and the treasurer topic would have at least taken another hour! Same as having a set meeting!

We voted on several revisions. Chris will be submitting these for uploading.
Book Club
Coordinators not available for update. We believe that their next book will be Inferno
RPG
They have added aliens and predators to the game. Lots of players, but you can still join.
Minis
First time played was Saturday at Hardcastles? It is a type of role playing game with little guys and cards.
DSG
Next event is the Challenger Event. Not much information available at this time.
Galactic Empire
Raised $125.00 in gift cards for the 501st and 10-12 boxes of food for the community food bank in the name of the TFF
Howl o ween
Need ideas for the event. Talked about ordering more TFF Tshirts. Need to schedule a planning meeting.
Light Parade
Need both costume and Non costume participants. Bring lightsabers - more the better. Need to schedule a planning meeting
Non costume events
Ideas? A sanctioned event needs CR approval, public posting and 3 members to attend. Social events are not subject to this criteria.
This is my first time doing this. Hopefully I got everything that should be posted.

You are correct. I forgot about the FF requiring having a treasurer. I guess we need to nominate someone for that. Did we decide on a set day and time for the meetings?

Those Harry Potter brats threaten to take our title!! I say we slay their basilisk and display its head on a pike for the crowds!!!
Seriously though a couple things:
Sound off on your preferred date and time, for the August meeting
I would prefer August 18th, but earlier, around 2PM

IF I get the job permanent the hours will be Tues-Fri 2:00 pm-10:30 PM and Sat 8:30-5:30 PM

What about the following weekend..the 25th or the 26th? I'll be back in town by then... 
As for the book club update, we are planning on doing Inferno probably in mid September (it is released Aug. 28), but this is up for discussion.
