We could all chip in, or Brandon thought that maybe we could do an out-of-the-box tournament. For those who aren't familiar with this, it's when each of us brings or buys an UNOPENED pack or two to the place, open them, and use ONLY WHAT YOU GET IN THE PACK(S) to build a squad. Seeing as how some of us probably can't afford to do this, I don't know how much of an option this will be.

Thats kinda what I was thinking we used to call them either booster drafts or sealed deck tournaments.
It would prolly have to be 2 packs and 100 point squad out of 2 packs then winner gets an extra pack.
We would only need 4 players maybe David?

I'm interested.  I know I haven't been on here much, but I would still like to play. I haven't played minis in aaages though. Actually, I haven't played since right after TFU came out. Zachary and I were thinking about getting a couple boosters when LotF comes out, but we're not getting cases this time. If we come we can also bring our trade box, which has some additions from TFU, so maybe we can get some trading action. I'll check back to see if this is happening...

Sweet that would make 5 which is good enough but better if we could get another! I would say a round robin tourny would be best and most fun but it also would take the longest with 6 people that would mean 5 games at approximately 1 hour each and we would need tome to build squads so about 6 hours which is actually about average for us!

Update: Heroes and Villains offered a discount on a case of 12, so Chris and I will pick that up, and we will do the sealed pack thing at approx. 4pm at Chris's house. PM/call him for directions. If you want to bring your own UN-OPENED packs, fine, but if not you can buy two from us for about $25-30 (not sure yet). THIS IS HAPPENING EVERYONE!!!

and maybe David (new guy from the meeting)
that would make 7 if David comes.
EDIT: OK, so Chris actually wants to make sure that NOBODY brings their own unopened packs, and just brings cash to buy the ones we got. Bring $30 if you can. Also, the prize for winning is going to be one extra pack (courtesy of H&V). But you already get something out of it, so no hard feelings when I win that pack... 
And PLEASE BRING YOUR TRADES EVERYONE!!!

Well, I hate to say 'I told ya so', but, I won. What sucks, though, is that out of the 4 packs I ended up with for the weekend, I GOT 2 PAIRS OF THE SAME GUY: 2 KRAYTS AND 2 CANDEROUSES!!! Nonetheless, it was really fun, and I look forward to doing it again when Knights of the Old Republic set comes out.

That's the only Lando we don't have like 3 of.
